I am so proud of getting in touch with vegetables and juicing. It is so easy but difficult to make taste worthy. I even got to make some humus with my juicer. Great fun and I ate it all.And of course had my vitamins and antioxidants which I do now without thinking. Having cancer is not the most fun in the world but it makes me pay attention to what I am doing in so many ways, It is teaching me about me. Life is good.

October 22nd the beginning of my 77th year.

I am pleased and excited to announce the 5 winners of our Count the Blooms in my garden Contest. It was fun from beginning to end.

To all those fine folks that entered I am only sorry I could not give a prize to each of you.

I am also packing my bags to go to Costa Rica for the winter; to a farm house near Jaco beach. I leave mid November and return mid April. Got to deal with my Lymphoma in a focused way. Hot and warm is what the doctor ordered. I will even be growing my own greens and vegetables.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season with everything the way you and your families will treasure.

We are all blessed to be on this world, for if not here where then?

In the September issue a homeopath interested in wild birds and animals has documented several illness recoveries using Homeopathy. They are worth reading to see how effective Homeopathy can be with wildlife even in extreme cases. Most of these cases were brought about by pesticides sprayed on golf courses, lawns and gardens. Lots of signs telling humans about what was going on but no way for animals or birds could know. It is nice to read how we as people can save our wild friends.

Dehumanizing Mankind

Over the last few months I have become confused more and more about what kind of a world I am in. It feels like mankind is being thrown for a loop by disastrous events like Iraq, Egypt, flu, Economic meltdowns to cite a few. Somehow it lead me to reread 1984 by George Orwell who paints a dim picture of the future. It is chilling reading for in many places he paints the road we are on now. Reading the following paragraph I was shocked.

to extract confessions, the use of hostages, and the deportation

This is certainly true from where I stand as I was raised with much higher standards of freedom and caring. We were fighting it seemed for a peaceful and productive world. But now like '1984' we are continually at war and this feels more and more like it is part of the strategy of control and centralizing power. We are fed through the media no different than in 1984.

I feel we are being dehumanized by this and somehow finding the control fine as we have an easy life. But we are being driven from disaster to disaster and seem to be losing the personal control of our lives.

This doc is about 50 minutes long and riveting.

We have not yet arrived at the Orwellian world but it seems clear that we are heading in that general direction. For one example just look at the Security net that will surround North America when Canada and the US implement it. It will be as much a prison for those inside as it will be a defended island for those outside.

The US Congress or Senate have or had under discussion if they should make law that says the USA is continually at war. A clear move toward solidifying the disaster technique being used today.

This seems to be a disastrous road for humankind for it can only lead to reducing the very things that make us human; our humanity and replaces it with a group at the top who see people as slaves one way or another, to be managed in brutal ways. It is sadistic by design and Power is its goal. Absolute Power even over its own ranks.

It is insidious how Power grows until we deem it OK; an example is the Lotteries. On one hand the Power says it raises money for charities but the buyer is gambling and hoping for a big win. Should we encourage our population to resort to gambling to get ahead?

Controls over our choices and our rights to choose are already in place and more are coming as supplements get legislated against and natural and herbal remedies are being curtailed and outlawed. Our lives are being directed as much as possible from the outside.

In our favour we have communications and this gives mass rallying power when needed and opportunities to hunker down in our homes and communities and try more and more to be self reliant in every way: living within our means and not on bank loans of any kind. Become aware of who is in the driver's seat and are the intentions really good for both the mental and physical health of ourselves, our families and the community we live in. "1984" is not here yet.

It is becoming extremely obvious that honest debate on important issues no longer exists and that discussions and outcomes are being totally manipulated by facilitators and manipulators who are expert at orchestrating precisely the results that THEY want, even though these are the very opposite to what makes sense or is essential.
This is called the Delphi Technique.

At no time in my memory has this technique for developing “herd compliance” been more evident than during the present Canadian Election. It is important that we all know That we are being manipulated, HOW we are being manipulated, WHY we are being manipulated - and HOW we can sabotage and neutralize these manipulative techniques.

Attached is a document detailing how to Defeat the Delphi Technique.

This information is essential if we are going to outsmart those who are determined to undermine and destroy our democracy.

Defeating The Delphi Technique
The Delphi technique and Hegelian dialects are heavily exposed at www.freedom-force.org
This document will give some ugly but useful advice in how to defeat the Delphi Technique. If your not familiar with what it is - it is a manipulative method used by Governments, Organizations and Unions to cause a 'pre-selected outcome' at a meeting, event, or function. Its usage is also implemented in any on line instrument such as a chat room, forum or newsgroup that has 'Moderators.'
Here is how the Delphi Technique works (and boy its effective). It is based upon the Hegelian Dialectic of creating ones own opposition in order to manipulate that opposition to a unified consensus. One exposing document from the Education Reporter accurately describes it:
In group settings, the Delphi Technique is an unethical method of achieving consensus on controversial topics. It requires well-trained professionals, known as "facilitators" or "change agents," who deliberately escalate tension among group members, pitting one faction against another to make a preordained viewpoint appear "sensible," while making opposing views appear ridiculous.
So there you have it, - a highly trained change agent or facilitator is brought in whenever a dispute arises where a predetermined outcome is desired. The facilitator will host a meeting (on line or otherwise) to gather input from members of the group.
The trick is anyone who disagrees with the pre-ordained plan is segregated, ridiculed and marginalized, while those supporting the ruling powers agenda are encouraged and praised for their 'activism'. The key is that it is important that the members of the meeting or group get involved, thus causing them to have the feeling of satisfaction that they have been involved in the change. The sad reality is that the entire thing was only a mass crowd manipulation to a pre-determined end.
Here is another example of what it is.
The facilitator begins by working the crowd to establish a good-guy-bad-guy scenario. Anyone disagreeing with the facilitator must be made to appear as the bad guy, with the facilitator appearing as the good guy. To accomplish this, the facilitator seeks out those who disagree and makes them look foolish, inept, or aggressive, which sends a clear message to the rest of the audience that, if they don't want the same treatment, they must keep quiet. When the opposition has been identified and alienated, the facilitator becomes the good guy - a friend - and the agenda and direction of the meeting are established without the audience ever realizing what has happened.
Trap-Dooring the Change Agent
The simplest and most effective method to defeat the Delphi Technique is for everyone in the meeting to know about it. I call it trap-dooring the change agent. Here is how you do it.
Prior to the meeting simply make many copies of what the Delphi Technique is (and how it’s used). That could be as simple as printing and making 500 copies of this document. If there is a 'facilitator' in the meeting, and you are reading this - try to see if you can see this tactic at work. Do you think this is an acceptable method of democracy where everyone’s rights are being equally respected??
I don't think so either. Why don't we start with a polite question for him like “Are you using Delphi?”
How to Diffuse the Delphi Technique
Three steps can diffuse the Delphi Technique as facilitators attempt to steer a meeting in a specific direction.
1. Always be charming, courteous, and pleasant. Smile. Moderate your voice so as not to come across as belligerent or aggressive.
2. Stay focused. If possible, jot down your thoughts or questions. When facilitators are asked questions they don't want to answer, they often digress from the issue that was raised and try instead to put the questioner on the defensive. Do not fall for this tactic. Courteously bring the facilitator back to your original question. If he rephrases it so that it becomes an accusatory statement (a popular tactic), simply say, "That is not what I asked. What I asked was . . ." and repeat your question.
3. Be persistent. If putting you on the defensive doesn't work, facilitators often resort to long monologues that drag on for several minutes. During that time, the group usually forgets the question that was asked, which is the intent.
Let the facilitator finish. Then with polite persistence state: "But you didn't answer my question. My question was ….... ." and repeat your question.
Never become angry under any circumstances. Anger directed at the facilitator will immediately make the facilitator the victim. This defeats the purpose. The goal of facilitators is to make the majority of the group members like them, and to alienate anyone who might pose a threat to the realization of their agenda.
At a meeting, have two or three people who know the Delphi Technique dispersed through the crowd so that, when the facilitator digresses from a question, they can stand up and politely say: "But you didn't answer that lady or gentleman's question." Even if the facilitator suspects certain group members are working together, he will not want to alienate the crowd by making accusations. Occasionally, it takes only one incident of this type for the crowd to figure out what's going on.
Establish a plan of action before a meeting. Everyone on your team should know his part. Later, analyze what went right, what went wrong and why, and what needs to happen the next time. Never strategize during a meeting. A popular tactic of facilitators, if a session is meeting with resistance, is to call a recess. During the recess, the facilitator and his spotters (people who observe the crowd during the course of a meeting) watch the crowd to see who congregates where, especially those who have offered resistance. If the resistors congregate in one place, a spotter will gravitate to that group and join in the conversation, reporting what was said to the facilitator. When the meeting resumes, the facilitator will steer clear of the resistors. Do not congregate. Instead gravitate to where the facilitators or spotters are. Stay away from your team members.
Maybe the Diamond Tactic (communist tactic of crowd manipulation) will also interest you:
1. Plan ahead of time what action you want the group to take: nominate or oppose a candidate, support or oppose an issue, heckle a speaker, or whatever. Everyone on your team must know exactly what they are going to do, including contingency plans.
2. Team members should arrive at the meeting separately and never congregate together.
3. Team players should arrive early enough to take seats around the outside of the assembly area, roughly in the shape of a diamond. They must not sit together. The object of the tactic is place your people around the perimeter of the audience so that, when they begin to take action, those in the center will have to do a lot of head turning to see them – to the right, then the left, then the rear of the room, then the front, etc. The more they turn their heads, the greater the illusion of being surrounded by people in agreement with each other, and the more they will be convinced that these people represent the majority opinion.
The only way to thwart the Diamond Tactic is to always be prepared to match it with your own team. Never take a meeting for granted, especially if something important is scheduled to transpire, such as nomination of officers.
Even a simple gathering to hear an important speaker can turn into a nightmare if opponents send in hecklers. So, always plan for the worst and be prepared to spring into action with comments from the floor such as: “I want to make it clear that these people do not speak for me. I am in total opposition to what they stand for. In fact, I would like to ask them to identify themselves. Who are you? Why did you come to this meeting? What is your agenda?” If comments such as this are heard from three or four people around the outside of the room, the meeting will be very exciting, but the tactic will be defused.
Setting Up a Online Trap Door For a Change Agent in a Forum (eg - http://groups.yahoo.com)
An effective and blunt instrument to put a total kill on manipulations in a online forum is to simply post the Delphi Technique to several similar email lists. In the posting SHOW where you have attempted to post an educational expose showing how crowds are manipulated(both online and off). If a change agent is running a email group they are now in a juxtaposition. If they attempt to censor the document, it will be quickly exposed in the other groups where the posting was allowed. If they DO post the document, their techniques may be quickly realized. Either way they are cornered, and they have to cede their operations or face exposure.
I am truly of the belief that everyone in North America should know the Delphi Technique and be taught to resist it.
Now that you know the average public meeting (or online forum) can be highly manipulated from both sides, did you ever stop to think that the Hegelian Dialectic is being used at a national level by our one-mind propaganda media? Start learning some alternative information so you can become a critical thinker again.

There was a time at night all alone where if I was too tired I would just turn off the light, climb into bed and go to sleep. It did not matter that I had not brushed my teeth. A sinful idea.

Now the ritual is much longer and ends with me brushing my teeth and my partial dentures. Such joy.

Before that though I go down to the kitchen and get a capsule of my Magnesium supplement and the baking soda. I spill the contents of the capsule into a fruit juice glass and an equal part of the baking soda. I turn on the kettle for about a minute to generate some heat and then half fill the glass and it froths and I drink it.

Goat Milk versus Cow Milk

When I was diagnosed with cancer one of the dietary one of the suggestions was that I use Goat Milk. Lots of positive reasons were given and so I complied. As I turn my diet around to 100% vegetarian plus Goat Milk and its products, no animal, fish or chicken products at all. I can feel the lump under my are is no worse, I am gaining weight and have good energy. There are many psychological challenges too. My continued use of tobacco through cigarettes.

I take 5 supplements: Vit Bs, D, Es, Magnesium and an anti- oxidant Resvaratrol. The Magnesium is to help my PH get to neutral between acid and alkaline. I have moved up to normal or near normal in about 3 months.

I am now juicing carrots every day and greens as well; wheat grass, kale, and beets, ginger, apple and orange. It is indeed a daily exploration to get the taste right for me but when I do it encourages me to try again. It tastes wonderful. I do the greens on their own and even them with an apple tastes ok.

I am not exercising enough but to move has always been a problem of mine. With the summer I will ride my bike and it will help I know. My 11 days of shooting at Weengushk Film Institute on Manitoulin Island, much of it working outside in below freezing weather improved my health by leaps and bounds.

The homeopathic medicines I am taking definitely have an effect which goes to my emotional core which of course is at the centre of me. My whole temperment changes to the better, to the positive side. I can feel that in this writing.

I do one visualization when I meditate in the morning. I cover myself in a stream of sparking white light and send it to my armpit. It goes inside and spreads its sparkles about encouraging my white blood cells as they enter the node. It is wonderful to watch and a few time now if it feels sore and it does sometimes I close my eyes and let my white sparking light go to the pain point and it is gone in a few seconds. Well that's what happens so who am I to argue about visualizations.

I am always reading and researching through trial and error to get myself in a totally good state to get rid of the swelling in my lymph node. the little cancer that I am dealing with.

I looked up some of the facts today wondering why it was that Goat Milk was suggested. From my personal experience with Goat Milk and its products and after reading the two articles below I conclude that were I to have children today they would only get Goats Milk to drink from crib to grave.

I apologize for this long re-post, but I'd like to share with my friends this letter from my business partner and musical associate Senator Tommy Banks. The bigger message here is how we want our government to behave, no matter who forms that government. Here's Tom's missive:

Tommy Bank’s letter:

There is only one thing about the outcome of the May 2nd election on which Mr. Ignatieff and Mr. Harper agree. It is that one of them will be the Prime Minister of Canada. Mr. Layton, Mr. Duceppe and Ms. May are not in the running to form a government. They can’t. It will be either Mr. Ignatieff or Mr. Harper.

That is the choice, and it is a very clear – in fact, stark choice.
We will choose between openness or secrecy.
Between listening or refusing to listen.
Between someone who respects Parliament or someone who disdains it.
Between things we can and will do now or things that, (provided of course that everything goes well), we might do in five or six years.
Between someone who answers all questions from Canadians, or someone who won’t accept any.

Between Mr. Harper who said “It’s past time the feds scrapped the Canada Health Act”,
or Mr. Ignatieff who said “ . . . we don’t want user fees. We want universal, accessible, free-at-the-point-of-service health care, paid out of general revenue. That’s just bottom line. Otherwise we get two-tiered”.

Between buying jets or helping vets.
Between real early childhood learning and care or Saturday-night babysitting.
Between respect for our great institutions or contempt for them.
Between helping families or helping big corporations.
Between the Canada that we think we have, or the way in which Mr. Harper has already changed it.

Over the past few years Mr. Harper’s government has quietly engineered so many changes that there are some ways in which our country is barely recognizable. Many of us don’t yet realize the extent of those changes, because many of them have been brought about very carefully and gradually – almost imperceptibly in some cases.

This is diabolically clever. If these things had all been done at once, there would have been loud protests and reactions. But moving just one little brick at a time doesn’t cause much fuss – until you realize that the whole house has been renovated. And we’ve hardly noticed.

These are changes that are at the very heart of who and what Canadians are.
They are changes to the protections that used to exist against the tyranny of the majority – or against a single-minded my-way-or-the-highway autocrat.
These changes are losses to our very Canadian-ness. Let me remind you of some of them:

The Law Commission of Canada was created by an Act of Parliament in 1997. It worked very well. It kept an eye in a sort-of avuncular way, on necessary reforms of the law, including election law. The Commission couldn’t actually change law; but it was very good at letting governments and everybody else know when changes needed to be made and why. It was our legal Jiminy Cricket, and it performed a valuable service for Canada. The Commission was created by an Act of Parliament, and any government wanting to shut it down should have been up-front about it.
It should have come to Parliament with a Bill to rescind The Law Commission of Canada Act.
That’s what any of our 21 previous Prime Ministers would have done.

But to Mr. Harper, Parliament is an inconvenience. Somebody might ask “Why are you doing this?” But he didn’t want to go through all that Parliamentary trouble; so, rather than proposing the abolition of the Commission (a proposal about which there would have been pretty fierce debate on all sides),
they just eliminated all funding for it in the federal budget. Governments can do that.
Poof – no Law Commission.

Nice and quiet. Just one little brick. Hardly noticed.

Then there was the Court Challenges Programme, set up in 1994, which was the means by which a bit of legal help could be provided to a private individual or small organization who didn’t have a lot of money, and who was taking on, or being taken on by, the Government of Canada. It leveled the legal playing field a bit. It was a perfect example of fundamental Canadian fairness.

By convincing a tough panel of judges of the reasonableness of your cause, you could get a little help in paying for some lawyers to go up against the phalanx of legal beagles that could always, and forever, and at public expense, be brought to bear against you by the State. In other words, if you weren’t rich, and if you were taking on or being taken on by the Feds, you might have had a chance.
But Mr. Harper doesn’t like being questioned, let alone challenged. It’s so inconvenient!
Solution? Quietly announce that the Court Challenges Programme is being, er, discontinued.
Poof – no Court Challenges Programme – no court challenges.

Hardly noticed.

The Coordination of Access to Information Request System (CAIRS) was created (by a Progressive-Conservative government) in 1989 so that departments of government could harmonize their responses to access-to-information requests that might need multi-departmental responses. It was efficient; it made sure that in most cases the left hand knew what the right hand was doing, or at least what they were saying; and it helped to keep government open and accountable.
Well, if you’re running a closed-door government, that’s not a good idea, is it?
So, as a Treasury Board official explained to the Canadian Press, CAIRS was killed by the Harper government because “extensive” consultations showed it wasn’t valued by government departments. I guess that means that the extensive consultations were all with government departments.

Wait! Wasn’t there anybody else with whom to extensively consult? Wasn’t there some other purpose and use for CAIRS? Didn’t it have something to do with openness and accountability? I guess not. Robert Makichuk, speaking for Mr. Harper’s government, explained that “valuable resources currently being used to maintain CAIRS would be better used in the collection and analysis of improved statistical reporting”.

Right. In other words, CAIRS was an inconvenience to the government. So poof – it’s disappeared. And, except for investigative reporters and other people who might (horrors!) ask questions, its loss is hardly noticed.

And the bridge too far for me: Cutting the already-utterly-inadequate funding for the exposure of Canadian art and artists in other countries. That funding was, by any comparison, already laughably miniscule. Mr. Harper says that “ordinary” Canadians don’t support the arts. He’s wrong.
And his is now the only government of any significant country in the world that clearly just doesn’t get it.

All these changes were done quietly, cleverly, and under the radar.
No fuss. No outcry. Just one little brick at a time.
But in these and other ways, our Canadian house is no longer the kind of place it once was.
Nobody minds good renovations. Nobody even minds tearing something down, as long as we put up something better in its place. That’s not what has happened.

Mr. Harper fired the head of the Canadian Wheat Board because he was doing his job properly.
He removed the head of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission because she wanted to make sure that the Chalk River nuclear reactor was safe.

Hardly noticed.

There are many more things that were hardly noticed: Cuts to funding for the Status of Women,
Adult Learning and Literacy, Environmental Programs, museums funding, and more.
All quietly, just one brick at a time.

Hardly noticed.

As to campaign promises, everybody in sight on every side is guilty of breaking those. Except the Federal NDP of course, who haven’t yet had the opportunity. (It’s very easy to make promises that you know you will not likely have to keep).

But the government promised to end wait times in health care. They didn’t.
They promised to end, once and for all, the whining of some provinces about the non-existent “fiscal imbalance”. They didn’t.
They said they had brought final resolution to the softwood lumber problem with the U.S. They haven’t. They promised to create thousands of new child-care spaces in Canada. They haven’t.
They promised not to tax income trusts (“We will NEVER do that!” they said). They taxed them.
They promised to lower your income tax.

They raised it.

They said they had a good “made-in-Canada” plan to meet our obligations on climate change. They don’t. Mr. Harper has said plainly that whatever the Americans do is what we’ll do too.

They campaign on a platform of transparency and accountability; but they’re now trying to discredit the Parliamentary Budget Officer that they created, because he’s trying to do the job that they gave him.
Mr. Harper said that our form of government, evolved over centuries from the 900-year-old British Westminster tradition, was all wrong. We had to have fixed election dates, because otherwise, democratic principles would be trampled. “Fixed election dates”, he said, “stop leaders from trying to manipulate the calendar. They level the playing field for all parties”.

So Parliament (remember them?) at Mr. Harper’s insistence, passed a law requiring fixed election dates, which Mr. Harper promptly broke.

Somebody once said that we get the kind of government we deserve.
What did we do to deserve Mr. Harper?
He once said that we should all “Stand Up for Canada”. Well, let’s do that.
We just have to decide whether the present version of Canada is the one that we’ll stand up for. Or stand for.

Canadians voted Tommy Douglas the Man of the Century. They did this for he stood for us as people. He put people first in the creation of a Health Care System for all Canadians. I have lived happily under this system for over 50 years.

I realize in listening to the debate that the only one really addressing people is the New Democratic Party: the NDP.

People must take back their ownership of their country. This ownership does not belong to any political party unless that party wants that too.

The very great deed that Tommy Douglas helped all of us to benefit from, the Health Care System, has been abused and become the biggest boon doggle ever perpetrated on the Citizens of Canada.

We need a proper Health Care Committee struck to examine if our system that relies on Pharmaceuticals and our current Medical Doctors is the best system to be following. We are quickly being turned into beings that cannot stay alive without their help: from vaccines to their drugs of all kinds, from Tylenol to exotic created chemicals that cost hundreds of dollars to buy onr dose.

Canadians are paying an enormous amount of every budget to support this system. Everyone is terrified of the whole system and yet is being denied more and more from seeking other ways to take care of themselves and other paradigms of healing. Only a proper Enquiry will reveal that.

We have lost our freedoms at the hands of Pharmaceuticals snf Industrial Chemical Corporations like Monsanto, Political parties and Government Departments like Health and Agriculture who have been co-opted by the power of money, from graft to the Media; all media from print to the TV Ads that sell their way into our brains and the news that speaks of them as they wish to be spoken about.

If the people of Canada want to be recognized and not just used we have to vote NDP and call for Jack Layton whether as a majority leader or the leader of a coalition to come forward in Tommy Douglas' spirit and make it better for Canadians, the poeple of the country who they represent.

Life has its turns and so we change or not and try to understand and try to make things as whole as possible.

My second CT scan was the same as the first and my blood good as well. I am dedicated to my health right
now as best I can be. I am close except in smoking but even there I am smoking 50% of what I used to.

We have an appointment in three months to see if proper living (sorta) with some thoughtful supplements and Homeopathic care can cure me.

My energy went down just after Christmas until I was sleeping 10 hours a night but I did not fight that at all.
Slowly I have improved. I fine cut the feature Oriental Pearls - 7 love stories, exquisitely shot, well directed and acted by 7 of Vietnam's finest female stars. Each story now shaped and a pleasure to enjoy.

Now I am on Manitoulin Island at the Weengushk Film Institute. Heaven and pergotory all at once. Heaven just to be here and meet another culture for the first time and feel what quiet enthusiasm is all about. Pergotory because I have to make up my own call sheets and I have never had to do the mechanics of it on a computer; just not a good sectetary.

We go out on Monday and the schedule is good now and the actors rehearsed and the 4 directors as ready as can be and we shall see how the 11 days of shooting unfold. 4 10 minute stories the first of a seriies. Light and fun. It will be challanging for me to eat enough and think enough and act enough to be a great asset in the process but I will do my best. I am excited.

Life at 76 is getting more and more fulfilling in every way. Even in paying attention to myself so I will get better.

Five months ago I rose and saw a great adventure

A dear friend, with really such a lively brain.

No easy task I undertook for age and confused temperament :
best just to say both are old and certainly I have a bent.
Some tinged with barbs as hard as barbs can be
but not with malice but with love laid where not all see

Not all saw that and so I grieve far more than most
My health has disappeared and cancers found me tasty
The rider now like me is fighting but far more risky.
The adventure taken back for others to be host.

And that is only part of all that tilts my bowler.
I struggle now to find the path to bring back health.
Years now I know good healing with herbs and homeopathy
That stand out in my mind gainst Chemo and XRay killer.

I listen to the folks I trust and place down all the questions
and sit with doctors who have figures to their benefit.
So I’ve changed my food and take supplements too
And mix up things that look like goo.

My last big chore is to give up the weed.
Addiction is a potent greedy freak
I’m coming close to the devil now
And soon I'll regain my strong know how.

And I sit alone in my dark third floor
With my solitaire and my mind out the door’
I can’t seem to find my feet on the floor
Just a mind caught nowhere and nowhere to go.

It’s the lot of my life to live in between
A mind in the wind with the leaves all akilter
But I try my best to stand up in the storm

to help a new director; someone worthy to create.

I am with hope for all is not lost until the last breath out.

And then its up to me to hear the path you wish to take
And me decide just how to move what vehicle I’ll ride.

Will I say yes if you say go the route of surgery?
Take the chemo, radiation just like most would do.
Or should I go a natural way, right food and actions clear
And know that path is open and it too can be true..

There are no guarantees in life.
No secret ways of knowing.
But I am master of my path.
Of which way I’ll be going.

We mortals grasp at every straw, maybe it is nothing at all,
The Cat scan says my heart is fine so’re my lungs and liver
Just the armpit finds me doc and makes me a strong believer
Except I don’t pray or maybe I do a sinner hoping to save a fall.

Still more tests to go and they will tell me more
so I live on the edge of an apartment ledge
hoping the wind will be just a breeze

Yes the biopsy is next with the mammogram and the ultrasound.
There is not telling what the seed of the discomfort is,
enough to know it rests isolated in its space
bigger yes, but not invasive to other parts as yet.

The herbalist said that after diagnosis she can tell
how to fit into a healing shell.
So all wait patiently to hear the longish name,
translated into plants to end the game.

For the last two months I have been busy preparing a feature film to begin shooting on October 9th. Hello October is a romantic comedy: A young man’s world is turned upside down when a pregnant stranger shows up at his door.

It is a challenge to produce.

I have other challenges too and here are a few poems that tell you about them.

My Armpit Finds Me Doc.

My armpit finds me Doc. Its found me for a month.
What just seemed sore muscles has popped up as a lump
Mushroom head, really quite hard, big as a loony. Yes I’m sure.
It moves about protecting itself way up high when I am standing;
Tucked under the flesh at the edge of my breast when I’m lying.
Its got good places for comfort and ease cares,for itself if you please .
My mind is aware as I am the creator, the prime generator, the progenitor.

My armpit finds me Doc. Lung x-rays clear, ultra sound says its real.
You’ve felt it there, my bloods gone for testing you wait to find out.
The surgeon’s stood by to read the results, soften me to what he thinks best.
My homeopath tested a hundred ideas but right opines it rests just there.
And so I must wait as the story goes on; waiting for the notes of some new song.
Friends hope the best and fear things worse and so do I, the mind is a curse.
But life is life and has its own mind. All things in time and time is not mine.

Government defends right to homeopathy on the NHS

The Government has strongly rejected demands by MPs for the funding of homeopathy on the NHS to be withdrawn, claiming it would fly in the face of patient choice and local decision-making.

In its response to a report from the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, which issued a damning verdict on the practice and called for GPs to be barred from referring patients under the NHS, the Department of Heath said it would not be stepping in - despite MPs' concerns over the lack of evidence and regulation of homeopathic treatments.

MPs had called not only for doctors to be barred from referring patients to homeopathic hospitals or homeopaths, but for the MHRA to intervene and to apply the same standards of regulation as for medicines, which they said would remove any medical claim supporters of homeopathy had.

But in its response today the DH said: ‘It is not appropriate for the Department of Health to remove the right of PCTs to make these decisions on a case-by-case basis.'

‘Capital investment decisions in the NHS are planned and decided at local level. The commissioning plans of local PCTs set out the type of services that need to be provided and therefore drive decisions about the nature of new facilities needed, or the need to maintain, update or replace existing facilities.’

The committee had also called for an investigation into the cost of homeopathy to the NHS and for new research into the evidence-base for homeopathy, but this too was rejected.

MPs had wanted regulators to ‘remove any medical claim and any implied endorsement of efficacy by the MHRA’ by ensuring the same evidence of efficacy used to assess conventional medicines was used, but the Government said this would potentially deal a fatal blow to the homeopathy market and limit consumer choice.

‘Homeopathy has a long tradition in Europe and is a recognised and widely used system of medicine across the EU,’ it said.

‘The Government takes the view that consumers who choose to use homeopathic medicines should be fully informed about their purpose and assured that standards of quality and safety are maintained. If homeopathic medicines were not subject to any kind of regulatory control consumers would not have access to such information or assurances.'

'Conversely, if regulation was applied to homeopathic medicines as understood in the context of conventional pharmaceutical medicines, these products would have to be withdrawn from the market as medicines. This would constrain consumer choice and, more importantly, risk the introduction of unregulated, poor quality and potentially unsafe products on the market to satisfy consumer demand.’

However the campaign group Sense About Science hit out at the Department of Health's ruling.

'The Government has ignored the Committee’s detailed consideration of the licensing of homeopathic products as medicines,' it said in a statement.

'It has acknowledged that “there will be an assumption that if the NHS is offering homeopathic treatments then they will be efficacious” and that homeopathic products can be licensed with no requirement for evidence that they treat any condition at all. However, the Government has put forward a weak point about ‘patient choice’ instead of considering what to do about these problems. At a time when PCTs are reviewing expenditure on ineffective treatments, this is perverse.'

'We urge them to go back and give proper consideration to this part of the Committee’s report. In the meantime, we recommend a warning on the label of homeopathic products telling people that the product is licensed without any evidence that it works.'

Battle-worn health freedom activists waited six months for the shoe to drop, knowing full well that at any moment, their latest nemesis, the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act called C-6, might reappear.

Last month, their impatience was rewarded, as Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq rose to introduce Bill C-36, complete with the same troublesome, rights-stomping provisions as in its momma. And of course, the same really, really nasty language making Canadians “subject to the dictates of foreign authorities”, the words that allow foreign committees (like trade groups) decide how we’re going to run things.

It’ll be their way, or the highway.

Witness the fact that the 106th US Congress voted to change American corporate tax law, not because it wanted to, but because it was ordered to – by the World Trade Organization. Now, if the WTO can yank the chains of the Yankees that easily, do we really think domestic Canadian laws are any less vulnerable?

There have been ten major trade agreements signed by Canada over the past sixteen years, and there are twelve more pending, including the “Free Trade Area of the Americas”. These trade obligations, signed eagerly by our successive governments, have Canada in shackles, and somehow, hardly anybody’s noticing.

Recently, master filmmaker Kevin P. Miller released a documentary showing Canadians how this has happened, in a dynamic retrospective leading to a dubious future: “A Question of Sovereignty” is now online for viewing at http://vimeo.com/13024940, and every red-blooded Canadian needs to see it, and now. It’s 23 minutes of jaw-dropping wakeup call.
Miller describes the film as “patriotic and sentimental” and I have to admit that it brings an uncomfortable lump to the throat as you watch our sovereignty being hijacked. But it also sets your couch on fire.

Miller’s take: “Quietly, over a period of many years, unconstitutional legislation encompassed in Bills C-51, C-6, and the current Bill C-36 have placed not only basic civil liberties and freedoms at risk, but Canada's national sovereignty as well. The film shares how entangling alliances with groups like the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization, Codex Alimentarius, the United States and even multinational corporate interests have become so powerful that they literally threaten to make elected officials in Parliament irrelevant.”

I have to thank Kevin for saving me a whole lot of time explaining what’s going on, and let the film speak for itself, because it does. And it’s going to play an important role in how Canadian health freedom fighters will be approaching the nascent battle against Bill C-36, while proving especially valuable in rousing more Canadians from their sleepwalking state.

Take a moment to absorb the very real danger of Canada’s virtual absorption into a global trade network that hovers over this nation right now. Piece by piece, department by department, our self-rule is being eroded by obligations to committees where our vote doesn't matter. For example, at the World Trade Organization, Canada is one out of nearly 200 nations. One. None of the other members really give a rat’s behind what we want. Worse yet, if we insist on doing our own thing, we face sanctions, in some cases cross-industry trade sanctions of millions per day, or quitting and being viewed as anathema by all the other suckers in the group.

So, no sovereignty, no health freedom. No freedom guaranteed at all. That candle is going out, bit by bit, as the trade groups meet and decide what the whole group will do, and if our laws conflict, too bad, so sad for our laws. And our self-rule.

Meanwhile, there are massive collisions set to happen. All these contracts with all sorts of terms, and what happens when they start to need enforcing? Gridlock. And what do you need when you have gridlock? A traffic cop. Do you see the platform for global government being "necessitated into existence" by the ongoing commitments of our governments, no matter which party was in power? Commitments to trading. To profit. Not to people. To share wealth, meaning spread what we have across the whole slice of bread while they retain the loaf. This is what Harper meant at the G8 when he spoke of "shared prosperity".

And those were the exact words used by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth at the UN this past week.

Bill C-36 swings the doors to Canada wide open to outside domination by foreign authorities that we will never vote for and who could not care less what we want. These are the same foreign authorities waiting, butter knife in hand, to spread the wealth, which really means to bring the world equal-opportunity poverty.

Without sovereignty, we have nothing, and Bill C-36 takes away a sizeable chunk of it with Codex looming, as well as a big pact with the EU, where the food regulations are just as bad as Codex already. You need to understand the depth and breadth of what Codex will do, and how our government is absolutely committed to going there. Bear in mind that Health Canada, with C-36, is asking to be granted police and judicial powers, the right to be judge, jury and executioner at will, to impose fines and imprisonment, without recourse to courts or recompense. But we're supposed to be satisfied by the fact that they promise to call a judge for a warrant? These are the powers that Leona Aglukkaq says are necessary for her agency to "protect Canadians against hazardous consumer products".

The posts at www.canadiansforhealthfreedom.org show what sort of “protection” Canadians got from their government when Health Canada foisted that particular hazardous product on the population. Bear in mind, they did so at the advice of whom? The same WHO that's been exposed as being in a huge conflict of interest beneficial to Big Pharma for its re-jigging of the very definition of a pandemic in order to declare one, on the advice of people connected to Big Pharma, which made a gazillion dollars feeding the toxic stuff to people around the world, from which many people suffered severe health problems. People like the ones on that page.

This is the same Health Canada that is asking for quasi-judicial powers, to "protect Canadians from hazardous products".
Remember Leona Aglukkaq, cajoling the Senate with portents of babies dying from faulty crib and playpen designs, if Bill C-6 didn't pass? She's trotted that one out already again for its doppelganger, C-36.

Now, unfortunately for Aglukkaq, there are actual dead babies which would today in all likelihood be alive, were it not for Health Canada's following of foreign "suggestions" in the promotion of the largely-untested H1N1 vaccine to Canadians, with the full expectation of “collateral damage”. And this Minister wants us to believe that this agency could be trusted with police and judicial powers? This Minister wants us to believe that the agency honors the rights of Canadians, after the shameful raid against Dr. Eldon Dahl last year, holding his family at gunpoint for 11 hours because he sold some vitamins in a sting operation by the health police? Dahl had what looked to him like the G20 security force bash in his front door. This protects Canadians, how? In my humble opinion, it doesn’t.

Instead, it endangers the very fabric of our nation.

Thankfully, there is a new army being assembled against Health Canada’s assault on our sovereign right to health freedom, with the establishment of The National Health Federation (Canada). Its parent organization, the NHF (www.thenhf.com), is the world’s largest and oldest health freedom organization, with branches in nine nations and membership in thirty countries, and is a recognized International Non-Governmental Organization.

The move gives Canada, for the first time, standing as delegates to Codex Alimentarius with the right to speak to the committee, and to Canadians, the ability to speak truth to power. In addition, the organization’s international scope means that we speak with the voices of twenty-nine other nations behind us, sharing the same concerns. That’s more votes than Canada has at the WTO.

I am honored to be one of three Co-Executive Directors of the new NHF Canada, and am gleefully sharpening my teeth. Where did the word 'marijuana' come from? In the mid 1930s, the M-word was created to tarnish the good image and phenomenal history of the hemp plant...as you will read. The facts cited here, with references, are generally verifiable in the Encyclopaedia Britannica which was printed on hemp paper for 150 years:

* All schoolbooks were made from hemp or flax paper until the 1880s; Hemp Paper Reconsidered, Jack Frazier, 1974.

* It was LEGAL TO PAY TAXES WITH HEMP in America from 1631 until the early 1800s; LA Times, Aug. 12, 1981.

* REFUSING TO GROW HEMP in America during the 17th and 18th Centuries WAS AGAINST THE LAW! You could be jailed in Virginia for refusing to grow hemp from 1763 to 1769; Hemp in Colonial Virginia, G. M. Herdon.

* George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and other founding fathers GREW HEMP; Washington and Jefferson Diaries. Jefferson smuggled hemp seeds from China to France then to America.

* Benjamin Franklin owned one of the first paper mills in America and it processed hemp. Also, the War of 1812 was fought over hemp. Napoleon wanted to cut off Moscow's export to England; Emperor Wears No Clothes, Jack Herer.

* For thousands of years, 90% of all ships' sails and rope were made from hemp. The word 'canvas' is Dutch for hemp; Webster's New World Dictionary.

* 80% of all textiles, fabrics, clothes, linen, drapes, bed sheets, etc. were made from hemp until the 1820s with the introduction of the cotton gin.

* The first Bibles, maps, charts, Betsy Ross's flag, the first drafts of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were made from hemp; U.S. Government Archives.

* The first crop grown in many states was hemp. 1850 was a peak year for Kentucky producing 40,000 tons. Hemp was the largest cash crop until the 20th Century; State Archives.

* Oldest known records of hemp farming go back 5000 years in China, although hemp industrialization probably goes back to ancient Egypt.

* Rembrandts, Gainsborough’s, Van Gogh’s as well as most early canvas paintings were principally painted on hemp linen.

* In 1916, the U.S. Government predicted that by the 1940s all paper would come from hemp and that no more trees need to be cut down. Government studies report that 1 acre of hemp equals 4.1 acres of trees. Plans were in the works to implement such programs; Department of Agriculture

* Quality paints and varnishes were made from hemp seed oil until 1937. 58,000 tons of hemp seeds were used in America for paint products in 1935; Sherman Williams Paint Co. testimony before Congress against the 1937 Marijuana Tax Act.

* Henry Ford's first Model-T was built to run on hemp gasoline and the CAR ITSELF WAS CONTRUCTED FROM HEMP! On his large estate, Ford was photographed among his hemp fields. The car, 'grown from the soil,' had hemp plastic panels whose impact strength was 10 times stronger than steel; Popular Mechanics, 1941.

* Hemp called 'Billion Dollar Crop.' It was the first time a cash crop had a business potential to exceed a billion dollars; Popular Mechanics, Feb., 1938.

* Mechanical Engineering Magazine (Feb. 1938) published an article entitled 'The Most Profitable and Desirable Crop that Can be Grown.' It stated that if hemp was cultivated using 20th Century technology, it would be the single largest agricultural crop in the U.S. and the rest of the world.

The following information comes directly from the United States Department of Agriculture's 1942 14-minute film encouraging and instructing 'patriotic American farmers' to grow 350,000 acres of hemp each year for the war effort:

'...(When) Grecian temples were new, hemp was already old in the service of mankind. For thousands of years, even then, this plant had been grown for cordage and cloth in China and elsewhere in the East. For centuries prior to about 1850, all the ships that sailed the western seas were rigged with hempen rope and sails. For the sailor, no less than the hangman, hemp was indispensable...

...Now with Philippine and East Indian sources of hemp in the hands of the Japanese...American hemp must meet the needs of our Army and Navy as well as of our industries...

...the Navy's rapidly dwindling reserves. When that is gone, American hemp will go on duty again; hemp for mooring ships; hemp for tow lines; hemp for tackle and gear; hemp for countless naval uses both on ship and shore. Just as in the days when Old Ironsides sailed the seas victorious with her hempen shrouds and hempen sails. Hemp for victory!'

Certified proof from the Library of Congress; found by the research of Jack Herer, refuting claims of other government agencies that the 1942 USDA film 'Hemp for Victory' did not exist.

Hemp cultivation and production do not harm the environment. The USDA Bulletin #404 concluded that hemp produces 4 times as much pulp as wood with at least 4 to 7 times less pollution.

From Popular Mechanics, February 1938:
'It has a short growing season...It can be grown in any state...The long roots penetrate and break the soil to leave it in perfect condition for the next year's crop. The dense shock of leaves, 8 to 12 feet above the ground, chokes out weeds.

...hemp, this new crop can add immeasurably to American agriculture and industry.'

In the 1930s, innovations in farm machinery would have caused an industrial revolution when applied to hemp. This single resource could have created millions of new jobs generating thousands of quality products. Hemp, if not made illegal, would have brought America out of the Great Depression.

William Randolph Hearst (Citizen Kane) and the Hearst Paper Manufacturing Division of Kimberly Clark owned vast acreage of timberlands. The Hearst Company supplied most paper products. Patty Hearst's grandfather, a destroyer of nature for his own personal profit, stood to lose billions because of hemp.

In 1937, DuPont patented the processes to make plastics from oil and coal. DuPont's Annual Report urged stockholders to invest in its new petrochemical division. Synthetics such as plastics, cellophane, celluloid, methanol, nylon, rayon, Dacron, etc., could now be made from oil. Natural hemp industrialization would have ruined over 80% of DuPont's business.

THE TRICKS

Andrew Mellon became Hoover's Secretary of the Treasury and DuPont's primary investor. He appointed his future nephew-in-law, Harry J. Anslinger, to head the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

Secret meetings were held by these financial tycoons. Hemp was declared dangerous and a threat to their billion dollar enterprises. For their dynasties to remain intact, hemp had to go. These men took an obscure Mexican slang word: 'marihuana' and pushed it into the consciousness of America.

MEDIA MANIPULATION

A media blitz of 'yellow journalism' raged in the late 1920s and 1930s. Hearst's newspapers ran stories emphasizing the horrors of marihuana. The menace of marihuana made headlines. Readers learned that it was responsible for everything from car accidents to loose morality.

Films like 'Reefer Madness' (1936), 'Marihuana: Assassin of Youth' (1935) and 'Marihuana: The Devil's Weed' (1936) were propaganda designed by these industrialists to create an enemy. Their purpose was to gain public support so that anti-marihuana laws could be passed.

Examine the following quotes from 'The Burning Question' aka REEFER
MADNESS:
*a violent narcotic.
*acts of shocking violence.
*incurable insanity.
*soul-destroying effects.
*under the influence of the drug he killed his entire family with an axe.
*more vicious, more deadly even than these soul-destroying drugs (heroin, cocaine) is the menace of marihuana!

Reefer Madness did not end with the usual 'the end.' The film concluded with these words plastered on the screen: TELL YOUR CHILDREN.

In the 1930s, people were very naive; even to the point of ignorance. The masses were like sheep waiting to be led by the few in power. They did not challenge authority. If the news was in print or on the radio, they believed it had to be true. They told their children and their children grew up to be the parents of the baby-boomers.

On April 14, 1937, the Prohibitive Marihuana Tax Law or the bill that outlawed hemp was directly brought to the House Ways and Means Committee. This committee is the only one that can introduce a bill to the House floor without it being debated by other committees. The Chairman of the Ways and Means, Robert Doughton, was a DuPont supporter. He insured that the bill would pass Congress.

Dr. James Woodward, a physician and attorney, testified too late on behalf of the American Medical Association. He told the committee that the reason the AMA had not denounced the Marihuana Tax Law sooner was that the Association had just discovered that marihuana was/is hemp.

Few people, at the time, realized that the deadly menace they had been reading about on Hearst's front pages was in fact passive hemp. The AMA understood hemp to be a MEDICINE found in numerous healing products sold over the last hundred years.

In September of 1937, hemp became illegal. The most useful crop known became a drug and our planet has been suffering ever since.

Congress banned hemp because it was said to be the most violence-causing drug known. Anslinger, head of the Drug Commission for 31 years, promoted the idea that marihuana made users act extremely violent. In the 1950s, under the Communist threat of McCarthyism, Anslinger now said the exact opposite. Marijuana will pacify you so much that soldiers would not want to fight.

Today, our planet is in desperate trouble. Earth is suffocating as large tracts of rain forests disappear. Pollution, poisons and chemicals are killing people. These great problems could be reversed if we industrialized hemp. Natural bio mass could provide all of the planet's energy needs that are currently supplied by fossil fuels. We have consumed 80% of our oil and gas reserves. We need a renewable resource. Hemp could be the solution to soaring gas prices.

THE WONDER PLANT

Hemp has a higher quality fiber than wood fiber. Far fewer caustic chemicals are required to make paper from hemp than from trees. Hemp paper does not turn yellow and is very durable. The plant grows quickly to maturity in a season where trees take a lifetime.

ALL PLASTIC PRODUCTS SHOULD BE MADE FROM HEMP SEED OIL. Hempen plastics are biodegradable! Over time, they would break down and not harm the environment. Oil-based plastics, the ones we are very familiar with, help ruin nature; they do not break down and will do great harm in the future. The process to produce the vast array of natural (hempen) plastics will not ruin the rivers as DuPont and other petrochemical companies have done. Ecology does not fit in with the plans of the Oil Industry and the political machine. Hemp products are safe and natural.

MEDICINES SHOULD BE MADE FROM HEMP. We should go back to the days when the AMA supported hemp cures. 'Medical Marijuana' is given out legally to only a handful of people while the rest of us are forced into a system that relies on chemicals. Hemp is only healthy for the human body.

WORLD HUNGER COULD END. A large variety of food products can be generated from hemp. The seeds contain one of the highest sources of protein in nature. ALSO: They have two essential fatty acids that clean your body of cholesterol. These essential fatty acids are not found anywhere else in nature! Consuming hemp seeds is the best thing you could do for your body. Eat uncooked hemp seeds.

CLOTHES SHOULD BE MADE FROM HEMP. Hemp clothing is extremely strong and durable over time. You could hand clothing, made from hemp, down to your grandchildren. Today, there are American companies that make hemp clothing; usually 50% hemp. Hemp fabrics should be everywhere. Instead, they are almost underground. Superior hemp products are not allowed to advertise on fascist television. Kentucky, once the top hemp producing state, made it ILLEGAL TO WEAR hemp clothing! Can you imagine being thrown into jail for wearing quality jeans?

The world is crazy...but that does not mean you have to join the insanity. Get together. Spread the news. Tell people, and that includes your children, the truth. Use hemp products. Eliminate the word 'marijuana.' Realize the history that created it. Make it politically incorrect to say or print the M-word. Fight against the propaganda (designed to favor the agenda of the super rich) and the bullshit. Hemp must be utilized in the future. We need a clean energy source to save our planet. INDUSTRIALIZE HEMP!

The liquor, tobacco and oil companies fund more than a million dollars a day to Partnership for a Drug-Free America and other similar agencies. We have all seen their commercials. Now, their motto is: 'It's more dangerous than we thought.' Lies from the powerful corporations, that began with Hearst, are still alive and well today.

The brainwashing continues. Now, the commercials say: If you buy a joint, you contribute to murders and gang wars. The latest anti-hemp commercials say: If you buy a joint...you are promoting TERRORISM! The new enemy (terrorism) has paved the road to brainwash you any way THEY see fit.

There is only one enemy; the friendly people you pay your taxes to; the war-makers and nature destroyers. With your funding, they are killing the world right in front of your eyes. HALF A MILLION DEATHS EACH YEAR ARE CAUSED BY TOBACCO. HALF A MILLION DEATHS EACH YEAR ARE CAUSED BY ALCOHOL.

Ingesting THC, hemp's active agent, has a positive effect; relieving asthma and glaucoma. A joint tends to alleviate the nausea caused by chemotherapy. You are able to eat on hemp. This is a healthy state of being.

The hemp plant is an ALIEN plant. There is physical evidence that hemp is not like any other plant on this planet. One could conclude that it was brought here for the benefit of humanity. Hemp is the ONLY plant where the males appear one way and the females appear very different, physically! No one ever speaks of males and females in regard to the plant kingdom because plants do not show their sexes; except for hemp. To determine what sex a certain, normal, Earthly plant is: You have to look internally, at its DNA. A male blade of grass (physically) looks exactly like a female blade of grass. The hemp plant has an intense sexuality.

Dalton McGuinty is Ontario's present Premier.

Here is what he has implemented in Ontario in the past seven years!!!!!!

He began with a no tax increase election campaign.

He increased all the licensing fees from your car to your boat including fishing and hunting.

He introduced the health care premium (not called a tax) some couples pay as much as $1,500.00 a year.

He doubled the price of most lottery tickets. (Not called a tax).

He has put a ECO tax on many containers such as paint cans and window washer fluid most people still don’t realize that they are paying it. He kept that one real quiet

He has put a disposal tax on all electronics.

He has put the disposal tax back on tires

Now don’t forget that all except the health care premium are subject to the GST and PST (taxes on taxes.)

And now he has pasted the HST the largest tax on the province ever, the only other tax in Ontario that ever came close to this in the past was the health care premium.

He passed this bill even though 76% of the people in Ontario were against it.

This HST will provide the Province with an additional THREE BILLION dollars a year.

And now we will have our S.M.A.R.T. meters that we will have to pay rent on and do our laundry in the middle of the night and we are going to pay big time for air conditioning from now on because when we need it the most that will be prime time. As if it costs any more to produce hydro at two in the afternoon or ten at night another tax grab.

Let us not forget the E health scandal with one point two billion dollars wasted and paid out to friends and relatives.

Mr. McGuinty’s answer to this was "well if the people of Ontario don’t like it they can show it in the next election. Nice. This was after he fired the CEO and gave her a severance package of three hundred thousand dollars not bad for only having the job for seven months.

Then the windmill power plant he awards the contract to KOREA seven BILLION DOLLARS. One would think that there was some place in Canada or North America that could have built these.

He closed the emergency rooms in Port Colborne and Fort Erie because there is not enough money and there has been two deaths since because by the time they got to St.Catharines it was to late.

He awards a hospital in Toronto involving three million dollars in the riding where there just happens to be a by- election to replace George Smitherman

He has taken the richest most prosperous province in Canada to one of the poorest and has created a deficit of TWENTY SEVEN BILLION DOLLARS and he still has a year and a half to go.

And don’t forget his nice little salary increase of $40,000.00 a year, millions of people in the province don’t earn half that.

All the MPP’S got 14% increase

Now that they all got nice increases he comes out with a new budget and freezes all provincial employees wages for two years.

He has increased the hydro by 10% in April of 2010.

He has increased the tax on liquor and wine by 10% in May of 2010

But mister no tax McGuinty will retire with his nice comfortable pension and all his paid benefits.

I hope this gets passed around the province of Ontario and everybody remembers the way Mister McGuinty treats his voters. Not one liberal MPP had enough guts to vote against any of the above.

The cost of safety for G8 and G 20

The federal government put the G20 in the middle of Toronto and the cost is below, almost 1 billion dollars. What a waste of money this is when you consider the poor people in Canada and how better to use this money. It is irresponsible to do this and shows a complete disrespect for the people of the country. But it does show the ego of the PM and his need to look big.

OTTAWA (AFP) - Canada has boosted its budget for security costs for upcoming G8 and G20 summits in and around Toronto next month, with some estimates approaching a billion dollars, officials said.The costs were original estimated at 179 million Canadian dollars, but an additional 654 million Canadian dollars was requested Tuesday, for a total of 833 million Canadian dollars (780 million US).

The figures were outlined in a document presented to parliament. They include 321.5 million Canadian dollars for federal police, 262.6 million for the public safety department, 63.1 million for the military and 6.7 million for other agencies.But officials said the costs could be even higher than requested so far.
"Based on a medium threat assessment, we're budgeting up to 930 million (Canadian) dollars," Christopher McCluskey, spokesman for Public Safety Minister Vic Toews, told AFP.

"It costs what it costs," he said. "We're prepared as hosts to respond to any possible threat and ensure all of the delegates' safety."

The Group of Eight summit is to take place in Huntsville in the Muskoka region north of Toronto on June 25-26 and be immediately followed by a G20 summit in Toronto on June 26-27.

Dee and I are going to do another program to talk about what will be up for grabs at the June 26th weekend with G8 meeting in Huntsville Ontario and G20 meeting in Toronto. There are several meetings prior to this (Bilderbergs meet June 3-6 in Sitges, Spain at a hotel resort called Dolce... "sweet".... Trilat has already met) These early meetings may well set the agenda for the G8 and G20 meetings. Dee with update us and tell and give us a heads up regarding both meetings.

I have been trying for some time now to understand what is going on in the world as we are being internationalized. In Canada it seems we are losing personal freedoms and these are being arbitrated outside our sovereign state. Hence I must conclude that our country is under other’s control. I do not feel comfortable with this idea.

I think the political/Corporate Cartel which includes all the major corporations and the banking empire of the world is working on its own behalf and not on the behalf of people.

The case below is a report from England in the Daily Telegraph. If you take the time to read it you will see that the winners of this fight should it be the BMA and the Pharmaceuticals is certainly not in the best interest of the people of England. Which is my point entirely.

The efforts of the International Cartel in every country of the world, is to direct the masses through media and marginalize all alternate competitors in the name of profits: Banking, chemical companies, military manufacturers, energy, etc. In the end it will mean less freedom of choice for individuals everywhere.

At this time peaceful people the world over have taken to the internet and the streets to bring the information forward and do what they can to influence governments through petitions and at the voting booths that this must stop. It is an uphill battle against a stacked deck.

If this fails I fear for the world will become a battleground as people rise up to claim their freedoms from this oppressive cartel.

Hundreds of members of the BMA have passed a motion denouncing the use of the alternative medicine, saying taxpayers should not foot the bill for remedies with no scientific basis to support them.

The BMA has previously expressed scepticism about homoeopathy, arguing that the rationing body, the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence should examine the evidence base and make a definitive ruling about the use of the remedies in the NHS.

Now, the annual conference of junior doctors has gone further, with a vote overwhelmingly supporting a blanket ban, and an end to all placements for trainee doctors which teach them homeopathic principles.

Dr Tom Dolphin, deputy chairman of the BMA's junior doctors committee in England told the conference: "Homeopathy is witchcraft. It is a disgrace that nestling between the National Hospital for Neurology and Great Ormond Street [in London] there is a National Hospital for Homeopathy which is paid for by the NHS".

The alternative medicine, devised in the 18th century by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann, is based on a theory that substances which cause symptoms in a healthy person can, when vastly diluted, cure the same problems in a sick person.

Proponents say the resulting remedy retains a "memory" of the original ingredient – a concept dismissed by scientists.

Latest figures show 54,000 patients are treated each year at four NHS homeopathic hospitals in London, Glasgow, Bristol and Liverpool, at an estimated cost of £4 million.

A fifth hospital in Tunbridge Wells in Kent was forced to close last year when local NHS funders stopped paying for treatments.

Gordon Lehany, chairman of the BMA's junior doctors committee in Scotland said it was wrong that some junior doctors were spending part of their training rotations in homeopathic hospitals, learning principles which had no place in science.

He told the conference in London last weekend: "At a time when the NHS is struggling for cash we should be focusing on treatments that have proven benefit. If people wish to pay for homoeopathy that's their choice but it shouldn't be paid for on the NHS until there is evidence that it works."

The motion was supported by BMA Chairman Dr Hamish Meldrum, though it will only become official policy of the whole organisation if it is agreed by their full conference next month.

In February a report by MPs said the alternative medicine should not receive state funding.

The Commons science and technology committee also said vials of the remedies should not be allowed to use phrases like "used to treat" in their marketing, as consumers might think there is clinical evidence that they work.

In evidence to the committee, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain said there was no possible reason why such treatments, marketed by an industry worth £40 million in this country, could be effective scientifically.

Advocates of homoeopathy say even if the effect of the remedies is to work as a placebo, they are chosen by thousands of people, and do not carry the risks and side effects of many mainstream medicines.

A survey carried out at England's NHS homeopathic hospitals found 70 per cent of patients said they felt some improvement after undergoing treatment.

Crystal Sumner, chief executive of the British Homeopathic Association (BHA), said attempts to stop the NHS funding alternative medicines ignored the views of the public, especially patients with chronic conditions.

She said: " Homeopathy helps thousands of people who are not helped by conventional care. We don't want it to be a substitute for mainstream care, but when people are thinking about making cuts to funding, I think they need to consider public satisfaction, and see that homoeopathy has a place in medicine."

She said junior doctors' calls for an end to any training placements based in homeopathic hospitals ignored the lessons alternative medicine could provide, in terms of how to diagnose patients.

Estimates on how much the NHS spends on homoeopathy vary. The BHA says the NHS spends about £4 million a year on homeopathic services, although the Department of Health says spending on the medicines themselves is just £152,000 a year.

Two weeks ago, a charity founded by the Prince of Wales to promotes alternative medicines announced plans to shut down, days after a former senior official was arrested on suspicion of fraud and money laundering.

The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health said its plans to close had been brought forward as a result of a fraud investigation at the charity.

George Gray, a former chief executive of the organisation, and his wife Gillian were arrested by Scotland Yard officers last month in an early-morning raid on their home in North London.

Citizens like you and I are losing personal freedoms supposedly protected by our countries. Freedom of choice in the food we eat as labeling is being taken away and you won't know if food is GMO or not. WHO right now can under the pandemic laws that govern many countries like Canada, can rule that we have to get a vaccine and we are obliged to. No exception and enforced. Sounds heavy to me. The banks and money are playing us all to poverty as we support their failures with out money. We are being used. it is called Usury.

This is a plot for a bad scifi film except that is what is going to happen at the G6 and G20 conferences in Huntsville and at the Toronto Convention centre. Our fate as people is being put under new orders of existence (large groups of countries with a central control that can override our Government and country rights. Those agreements are not much about freedom and supporte for ordinary people.

The Canadian Government plus Ontario and Toronto, our tax money, is paying over 150 million dollars for G20 security. It is more than just the odd mad bomber that the barriers are being set up for but for the protesters, mostly pacifistic and wanting to have their understandings and cautions heard. Relegated to official protester locations.

The media will go for the sizzle and forget the steak as they say in show bis. They will show the drama of confrontation and not the messages that should be heard. The most inteteresting aspect is that this is all happening before our eyes. In some countries where one votes and has political parties one would expect a strong opposition to where we are headed as human beings in a country that we seem to claim.

The reason is the media is captured and we are led blindly following for who else do we have to believe in. Any other ideas contrary to the directions of the ruling Industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical and military powers is vilified, distorted and marginalized in the media to deflect any opposing ideas wanting to be presented.

Worst part of a bad movie you can predict the outcome and I get a creepy feeling it is a very unpleasant end of our stay here on earth. Maybe and maybe not. The loss of our rights to International agreements is as fatal to our freedoms as losing them through Government bills that seem protective but in fact limit our rights in many areas. The decision by the department's Minerals Management Service (MMS) to give BP's lease at Deepwater Horizon a "categorical exclusion" from the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) on April 6, 2009 -- and BP's lobbying efforts just 11 days before the explosion to expand those exemptions -- show that neither federal regulators nor the company anticipated an accident of the scale of the one unfolding in the gulf.

Rethinking the rules

Now, environmentalists and some key senators are calling for a reassessment of safety requirements for offshore drilling.

Sen. Judd Gregg (R-N.H.), who has supported offshore oil drilling in the past, said, "I suspect you're going to see an entirely different regime once people have a chance to sit back and take a look at how do we anticipate and clean up these potential environmental consequences" from drilling.

BP spokesman Toby Odone said the company's appeal for NEPA waivers in the past "was based on the spill and incident-response history in the Gulf of Mexico." Once the various investigations of the new spill have been completed, he added, "the causes of this incident can be applied to determine any changes in the regulatory regime that are required to protect the environment."

"I'm of the opinion that boosterism breeds complacency and complacency breeds disaster," said Rep. Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) on Tuesday. "That, in my opinion, is what happened."

Jack Gerard, president of the American Petroleum Institute, said it is important to learn the cause of the accident before pursuing a major policy change. "While the conversation has shifted, the energy reality has not," Gerard said. "The American economy still relies on oil and gas."

While the MMS assessed the environmental impact of drilling in the central and western Gulf of Mexico on three occasions in 2007 -- including a specific evaluation of BP's Lease 206 at Deepwater Horizon -- in each case it played down the prospect of a major blowout.

In one assessment, the agency estimated that "a large oil spill" from a platform would not exceed a total of 1,500 barrels and that a "deepwater spill," occurring "offshore of the inner Continental shelf," would not reach the coast. In another assessment, it defined the most likely large spill as totaling 4,600 barrels and forecast that it would largely dissipate within 10 days and would be unlikely to make landfall.

"They never did an analysis that took into account what turns out to be the very real possibility of a serious spill," said Holly Doremus, a law professor at the University of California at Berkeley who has reviewed the documents.

The MMS mandates that companies drilling in some areas identify under NEPA what could reduce a project's environmental impact. But Interior Department spokesman Matt Lee-Ashley said the service grants between 250 and 400 waivers a year for Gulf of Mexico projects. He added that Interior has now established the "first ever" board to examine safety procedures for offshore drilling. It will report back within 30 days on BP's oil spill and will conduct "a broader review of safety issues," Lee-Ashley said.

BP's exploration plan for Lease 206, which calls the prospect of an oil spill "unlikely," stated that "no mitigation measures other than those required by regulation and BP policy will be employed to avoid, diminish or eliminate potential impacts on environmental resources."

While the plan included a 13-page environmental impact analysis, it minimized the prospect of any serious damage associated with a spill, saying there would be only "sub-lethal" effects on fish and marine mammals, and "birds could become oiled. However it is unlikely that an accidental oil spill would occur from the proposed activities."

Kierán Suckling, executive director of the environmental group Center for Biological Diversity, said the federal waiver "put BP entirely in control" of the way it conducted its drilling.

Agency a 'rubber stamp'

"The agency's oversight role has devolved to little more than rubber-stamping British Petroleum's self-serving drilling plans," Suckling said.

BP has lobbied the White House Council on Environmental Quality -- which provides NEPA guidance for all federal agencies-- to provide categorical exemptions more often. In an April 9 letter, BP America's senior federal affairs director, Margaret D. Laney, wrote to the council that such exemptions should be used in situations where environmental damage is likely to be "minimal or non-existent." An expansion in these waivers would help "avoid unnecessary paperwork and time delays," she added.

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill were talking Tuesday about curtailing offshore oil exploration rather than making it easier. In addition to traditional foes of offshore drilling such as Democratic Sens. Robert Menendez (N.J.) and Bill Nelson (Fla.), Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) and centrists such as Max Baucus (D-Mont.) and Richard G. Lugar (R-Ind.) said they are taking a second look at such methods.

"It's time to push the pause button," Baucus told reporters.

This safety concern bypassed leaves us vulnerable just as forgiving the Pharmaceuticals of any legal responsibility for their vaccines is truly criminal. Instead the Government has funds for this. What is going on???

Think about it - The environmental impact of the spill and its impact on lives in the area will last for years and cost billions. We pay the bill and live with the consequences of bad Government.

It is no different for a child who reacts badly to a vaccine impact on families who are thrown into medical interventions, constant care and sometimes both hospitalization and institutional care plus a lifelong suffering of the damaged person. We pay for that through a Government fund so we pay all that for pharmaceuticals forgiven mistakes.

Living in Toronto I am afraid to go to Iraq for a holiday. Why?
My first reason is I am afraid I might be killed by terrorists. If I actually lived in Iraq I would be living by the minute with this fear. Fear is what terrorists want; people afraid give way and do what the terrorist wants them to do.

As I watch the media today I am bombarded with fears. Told to be afraid. Told to be cautious. I follow directions through fear and fear mongering by money masters and mortgage lenders, and GMO food creators to save the world from starving and WHO creating pandemics and demanding Flu vaccines for the world or we will be at risk.
All are presented by promoting fear if we do not obey.

Fear is exported by our Governments who are broke and need more taxes but give less services. In the end it is democracy that needs Capitalism and a consumer public to pay for itself. The needs for profit encouraging consumer overindulgence to earn profits for shareholders. We think for a while we are in the cat bird seat with everything we want and now we realize there is a price to pay. Money is being made that promotes this. Fear about no money and poverty keeps us in line.

In responding to the fear of terrorism, Americans and much of the world's people are losing personal rights through "Patriot" like laws that limit personal freedoms and one of those rights is the freedom of choice.

At every major Corporation and in Governments there is stategy afoot to limit our freedom of choice through all media including the internet. A consistent negative published point of view is trying to restrict vitamins, organic foods, medication to follow their dictates by law. Alternates will become illegal.

As we join in larger groups like Nafta and G8 and G20 countries become subject to outside judgments that will be binding on how we the people will respond. A small group of appointed executives somewhere in the world will be able to dictate to us what we must do.

Our citizens will be no longer free to choose.

Fear disorients people and adds huge stress to every life.

Fear mongering leads to control. Obey and be safe is the mantra.

Whether it is the Terrorist or the Government or the International Corporations, we are being continually stressed to follow their edicts and do what we are told or democracy and our way of life will fail.

It is dangerous if we do not resist this movement toward a new kind of dictatorship; one overseen by the Corporate management at an International level and driven by excessive profits at people's expense.

This is an excerpt from The Life and Letters of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann by Thomas Lindsley Bradford, M. D. It is clear on reading this how special Hahnemann is. His early life is a marvel for the education he received from people who recognized his abilities. The moral and ethical underpinnings of his role models guided him all his life.

August 30, 1791

I was born April 10, 1755, in the Electorate of Saxony, one of the most beautiful parts of Germany. This circumstance, as I grew up to manhood, doubtless contributed a great deal to my veneration for the beauties of nature. My father, Christian Gottfried Hahnemann, together with my mother, Johanna Christiana, born Spiess, for a pastime taught me to read and write. My father died four years ago (1787.) Without being deeply versed in science (he was a designer in a porcelain manufactory in his native place, and is the author of a brief treatise on painting in water colors) he had the soundest ideas of what may be considered good and worthy, and he implanted them deeply on my mind.

To live and to act without pretence or show was his most noteworthy precept, and his example was even more impressive than his words. He was always present, though often unobserved, in body and soul wherever any good was to be done. In his acts he discriminated with the utmost nicety between the noble and the ignoble, and he did it with a justness which was highly creditable to his tender feelings. In this respect, too, he was my preceptor. He seemed to have ideas of the first principles of creation, of the dignity of humanity, and of its ennobling destiny, that were not in the least inconsistent with his manner of acting. This gave direction to my moral training. To speak of my mental training, I spent several years in the public school of Meissen so as to go thence, in my sixteenth year, to the private school (Fiirstenschule), in the same place, and four years thereafter to attend the University of Leipsic. There was nothing noteworthy respecting me at school, except that Master Muller, my teacher in ancient languages and German composition, who besides living a great deal for the world and me, was rector of the Meissen private school, and scarcely has had his equal in industry and honesty, loved me as his own child and allowed me liberties in the way of study, which I am thankful for to this day, and which had a perceptible influence upon my subsequent studies. In my twelfth year he entrusted to me to impart to others the rudiments of the Greek language. Moreover, in his private classes with his boarders and myself, he listened attentively and lovingly to my critical exposition of the old writers, and often preferred my meaning to his own. My father did not wish me to study at all; he repeatedly took me from the public school for a whole year, so that I might pursue some other business more suited to his income. My teachers prevented this by not accepting any pay for my schooling during the last eight years, and they entreated him to leave me with them and thus indulge my propensity for learning. He did not resist their entreaty, but could do nothing more for me. On Easter, 1775, he let me go to Leipsic, taking with me twenty thalers for my support. This was the last money received from his hand. He had several other children to educate from his scanty income, enough to excuse any seeming negligence in the best of fathers.

By giving instruction in German and French to a rich young Greek from Jassy, in Moldavia, as well as by translating English books, I supported myself for the time, intending to leave Leipsic after a stay of two years.

I can conscientiously bear testimony that I endeavored to practice in Leipsic also, the rule of my father, never to be a passive listener or learner. I did not forget here, however, to procure for my body, by outdoor exercise, that sprightliness and vigor by which alone continued mental exertion can be successfully endured.

During this stay in Leipsic I attended lectures only at such hours as seemed best suited to me, although Herr Bergrath Porner, of Meissen, had the kindness to furnish me with free tickets to the lectures of all the medical professors. So I read by myself, unweariedly of course, but always only of the best that was procurable, and only so much as I could digest. My fondness for practicing medicine, as there is no medical school at Leipzig, led me to go to Vienna at my own expense. But a malicious trick which was played upon me and which robbed me of my public reputation acquired in Leipsic (repentance demands atonement, and I say nothing about names and circumstances) was answerable for my being compelled to leave Vienna after a sojourn of three-fourths of a year. During these nine months I had had for my support only sixty-eight florins and twelve kreutzers. To the hospital of Brothers of Charity, in the Leopoldstadt, and to the great practical genius of the Prince’s family physician, named Von Quarin, I am indebted for my calling as a physician. I had his friendship, and I might also say his love, and I was the only one of my age whom he took with him to visit his private patients. He respected, loved and instructed me as if I had been the first of his pupils, and even more than this, and he did all without expecting to receive any compensation from me.

My last crumbs of subsistence were just about to vanish when the Governor of Transylvania, Baron von Bruckenthal, invited me under honorable conditions to go with him to Hermanstadt as family physician and custodian of his important library. Here I had the opportunity to learn several other languages necessary to me, and to acquire some collateral knowledge that was pertinent and still seemed to be lacking in me.

I arranged and catalogued his matchless collection of ancient coins as well as his vast library, practiced medicine in this populous city for a year and nine months and then departed, although very unwillingly, from these honorable people to receive at Erlangen the degree of doctor of medicine, which I was then able to do from my own attainments. To the Privy Councillor, Delius, and Councillors Isenflamm, Schreber and Wendt, I am indebted for many favors and much instruction.

On August 10, 1779, I defended my dissertation, and, thereupon, received the honorable title of doctor of medicine.

The instinctive love of a Swiss for his rugged Alps cannot be more irresistible than that of a native of Saxony for his fatherland.

I went thither to begin my career as a practicing physician in the mining town of Hettstadt, in Mansfield county. Here it was impossible to develop either inwardly or outwardly, and I left the place for Dessau in the spring of 1781, after a sojourn of nine months. Here I found a better and more cultured society. Chemistry occupied my leisure hours and short trips made to improve my knowledge of mining and smelting filled up the yet quite large dormer windows in my mind.

Towards the close of the year 1791, I received an insignificant call as physician to Gommern, near Magdeburg. The size of the town being considerable, I looked for a better reception and business than I found in the two years and three-fourths which I passed in this place.

There had lived as yet no physician in this little place to which I had removed, and the people had no idea concerning such a person.

Now I began for the first time to taste the innocent joys of home along with the delights of business in the companionship of the partner of my life, who was the step-daughter of Herr Haseler, an apothecary in Dessau, and whom I married immediately after entering upon the duties of this position. Dresden was the next place of my sojourn.

I played no brilliant role here, probably because I did not wish to do so. However, I lacked here neither friends nor instruction. The venerable Doctor Wagner, the town physician, who was a pattern of unswerving uprightness, honored me with his intimate friendship, showed me clearly what legal duties belonged to the physician (for he was master in his art), and for a year delivered over to me on account of his illness, with the magistrate’s consent, all of his patients (in the town hospitals), a wide field for a friend of humanity. Moreover, the Superintendent of the Electoral Library, Councillor Adelung, became very fond of me and, together with the Librarian, Dossdorf, contributed a great deal towards making my sojourn interesting and agreeable. Four years thus elapsed, more speedily to me in the bosom of my increasing family, than to the unexpected heir to great riches, and I went about the time of Michaelmas, 1789, to Leipsic, in order to be nearer to the fountain of science. Here I quietly witness the Providence which Destiny assigns to each of my days, the number of which lies in her hand.

Four daughters and one son, together with my wife, constitute the spice of my life. In the year 1791 the Leipsic Economical Society, and on the second of August of the same year the Electoral Mayence Academy of Science, elected me a fellow member.

How Citizens, Scientists, and Even Politicians are Saying No to Healthcare Fraud

Saying No! is a social responsibility none of us may safely ignore. Heroes reveal the fact of oppression and demand opposition; their example helps us to build courage, but in the end each one of us must act personally.
Farmer Michael Schmidt, who was recently acquitted of all charges brought against him by Health Canada on the raw milk issue, took part in a health freedom panel at the Total Health Show in March. While there, he stated that the only way to achieve change in the current food and drug regulatory system which favours corporate interests over human rights and scientific evidence, is to say “No!” to the bureaucrats’ assumption of obedience. “It drives them crazy!”, he said. Schmidt was sharing the panel with Health Canada rebel Dr. Shiv Chopra, lawyer Shawn Buckley of the Natural Health Products Protection Association, and world-famous cancer-industry debunker Ralph Moss.
Saying No! becomes effective when one employs three tools: the uncovering of suppressed facts, the demonstration of regulations contravening mandatory procedure and current law, and the soliciting of public response to misinformation campaigns. It is this reasoned method of cutting through the BS and insisting on “informed consent” that “drives them crazy.” Complaining that the world is going to hell , or despairing over what some great cabal of crooks are going to do next merely feeds that corruption.
Over the past couple of years, public opposition to corporate agendas aiming to make people into consumers and nothing but (at great cost to health and environment) has gained momentum. Indeed, the famous Flynn Effect appears to be validated. It states that average intelligence rises with every generation in all measurable areas of cognition, language/semantics, and memory. This effect has been measured in all cultures. I am especially impressed by the intelligence that people demonstrate in the art of saying No! They trust their own judgment and ignore “experts” in droves. Here are some inspiring examples of vital significance because they are funded by governments and institutions whose focus was forced to shift by overwhelming evidence.

Patients Abandon Their Prescriptions
The University of Saskatchewan found that women, especially, have been avoiding taking their antidepressants despite the fact that the numbers of prescriptions increased: they either don’t fill them or don’t take them once filled.
Less than 1% of women who have survived estrogen-dependent breast cancer actually take their prescribed Tamoxifen, the drug that supposedly prevents recurrence of breast cancer but has a high chance of causing liver and uterine cancer instead. The National Cancer Institute in the U.S. was so astonished by this statistic, they launched a study into the reasons for this outbreak of superior female intelligence.
Not only patients are wising up. The former pundits of medical orthodoxy are announcing truths most Vitality readers have known for some time. For example, the American Cancer Society no longer supports mammograms as an effective tool for breast cancer prevention, nor PSA testing for prostate cancer screening.

Governments React to Healthcare Fraud
The European Union published the results of a multi-year mega study late last year, entitled “Healthy Living is the Best Revenge”. It showed that people who didn’t smoke, exercised moderately, ate fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and nuts, and ate very little meat reduced their risk of diabetes by 93%, heart attacks by 81%, and the incidence of all cancers by 36%. Interestingly, around the same time President Obama called for a total ban on candy and soda in the nation’s schools in February and is considering crippling taxes for such products.
Some governments acted outright heroically: Sweden banned all uses of mercury last year, which means the rest of the EU will have no choice but to do the same soon. The vaccine industry must be in shock (what will they use as preservatives now?), and those 50% of EU dentists who still use mercury amalgam must be assessing their options nervously.
Republican Senator Charles Grassley recently disarmed the agenda of Big Pharma when he introduced a bill that would require Big Pharma to publish all payments made to doctors and researchers above $50. And he has bi-partisan support – Massachusetts pre-empted Congress and already requires publication of all payments over $5! I anticipate a disproportionately low death rate and dramatic decrease in healthcare expenditures for that State.
In January of this year, Senator Grassley exposed Glaxo SmithKline’s fraudulent “science”. Turns out that the diabetes drug Avandia is based on “no science at all” and GSK was proven to have lied to the FDA regulators and the public, killing thousands (Avandia increases the risk of heart attacks by 43% in diabetics). GSK now faces liability storms similar to those that shook Pfizer with a fine of $2.3 billion due to the fraud uncovered with regard to the painkiller Bextra, the antipsychotic drug Geodon, the antibiotic Zyvox, and the antidepressant Lyrica. Additional revelations included Merck fabricating an entire bogus medical journal to support its disastrous anti-inflammatory drug Vioxx, and sales for Pfizer’s rival drug Celebrex were boosted by a study which reported results gathered by a renowned expert, Dr. Scott Reuben, based on no patients at all. The entire study was faked – as were this researcher’s studies on Bextra and rival company Merck’s Vioxx. This takes science fiction to quite a new level.

New Research Exposes Pharma Fraud
The complex edifice of lies, which often fatally misled many desperate patients for many years, is crumbling so fast that I find it difficult to keep up with the relevant publications.
The American Journal of Psychiatry recently published the results of a huge study showing that sudden death in children increases by about 500% when taking ADHD drugs, of which Ritalin is the best-known. The researchers who undertook this study set out, explicitly, to disprove such a connection and were forced by the evidence to admit the opposite. This data caused something of a house-fire in the mansions of psychiatry: researchers Greenberg and Kirsch published bestselling books showing that a whole class of antidepressant drugs are actually not much different in their effects on depression than placebo – i.e. sugar pills. However, what they do cause is personality changes, including extreme violence and a dramatic increase in the rate of suicide, as psychiatrist Peter Breggin testified a few weeks ago before the U.S. Congress.
Last year, The New England Journal of Medicine, the British Medical Journal, the Mayo Clinic, JAMA, the Lancet, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer, and the PLoS-Medicine (open-access on-line journal), all published exhaustive re-analyses of large databases showing that the most vital information on the dangers of drugs mysteriously is missing in virtually all patient information, that 94% of all positive information on Big Pharma products comes from authors who are financially compromised, nearly 29% of all cancer studies are thus financially conflicted and unreliable, and the claims for survival in cancer therapy studies were essentially wishful thinking at best.
The proposal that caused my jaw to drop and left me (almost) speechless appeared on April 1 last year, but it is was not a joke. Published in the Journal of the American Medical Assn, it was authored by the editors of the world’s leading medical journals and provided a “proposal for controlling conflicts of interest”. If anybody had asked me how to accomplish such control, I would have recommended “a complete ban on pharmaceutical and medical device industry funding …”. To my astonishment, that is exactly what these editors recommended! The above is a quote from them, not from yours truly. JAMA’s list of revolutionary demands included the following: that the education of doctors “must be carefully distinguished from marketing” (who will fund medical conferences?) and that medical organizations should no longer accept money from Big Pharma at all; such “fundamental reforms” were stated as being imperative because otherwise “the public trust” is, well, down the toilet. I didn’t think I would live long enough to read something like this in JAMA.
Speaking of public trust, here is a zinger! Early in March, Dr. Poul Thorsen disappeared along with $2 million in research money. The money is nothing compared to the importance of the doctor. He published a series of studies, starting in 2003, that supposedly proved that the MMR vaccine cannot cause autism. Using the large government database of Denmark as his source, Thorsen misrepresented the data showing that Denmark supposedly experienced a 20-fold increase in autism after mercury was banned there as a vaccine preservative. Therefore, mercury could not be the cause of childhood autism. In March, new reports appeared showing Thorsen’s studies to be fraudulent; so he took off with what money was still in the cash box.

Scientists, Soldiers, and Citizens Revolt
Unlike Dr. Thorsen, one of the key researchers into the Gardasil vaccine Cevarix, Dr. Diane Harper, said No! to her employers and went public. She had worked on the development of this vaccine, which supposedly protects against cervical cancer. But then she became a whistle blower and informed the UK’s Sunday Express and the New York Times that this vaccine does nothing but possibly prevent genital warts and “will not decrease cervical cancer rates at all.” She also stated that this vaccine was being “over-marketed” and that parents of young girls should know that it carries the danger of serious side effects. Dr. Harper recalled that “Merck had lobbied every opinion leader, women’s group, medical society, politician, and went directly to the people … it created a sense of panic that says you have to have this vaccine now …”
The last place I would have expected a resounding No! to come from is the German army. In Germany, obedience to authority is a virtue. Last September, when the H1N1 hysteria gripped the world, Germany’s soldiers said “Nein, danke!” and refused the vaccine. That prompted Germany’s Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, chair of the Council of Europe’s 47-nation Sub-Committee on Health, to launch an investigation into the vaccine and the pandemic’s origins. Its findings included testimony from key researchers of the World Health Organization. The Sub-Committee ended up declaring that the “pandemic” is a “hoax” and the vaccine is a bust. Dr. Wodarg said that “people are much cleverer than the government and figured it out for themselves”, and so less than 6% of the citizens of France and Belgium, for example, took the vaccine. Even in Japan, where obedience also tends to be regarded a virtue, only a tiny minority took it.
With regard to food safety, refusal to put up with business as usual was also unexpected and dramatic. The National Cancer Institute took on the food industry, declaring that restaurant meats are high in carcinogens and that foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids “essentially reverse the risk” for prostate cancer.
The U.S. food industry voluntarily stopped the use of bovine growth hormone – a cause to which Dr. Shiv Chopra devoted most of his rebellious career at Health Canada. That long battle which he and his colleagues waged also publicized the cancer-producing effect on humans from food-producing animals given prophylactic antibiotics throughout their lives, as is the norm in industrial farming. The research supporting these findings has increased all over the world, and now this practice may soon be history because a natural substance, chitosan, appears to be a great deal better.
Monsanto was hit as hard as Big Pharma: the BBC reported on October 15, 2009, that the Supreme Court of France found Monsanto had lied all along about the safety of its flagship herbicide, the allegedly environmentally safe and harmless Roundup; the European Union classified it as “dangerous to the environment” because it is a carcinogen and environmentally unsafe.
The next blow came from an international team of researchers who proved that genetically modified corn causes damage to “the heart, the adrenal glands, the spleen,” the blood, and is toxic to the liver. This study certainly was welcome support for a chorus of No! that greeted the EU’s approval of a GM potato for certain restricted purposes; several countries announced their absolute refusal to cooperate with this EU decision.
In India last fall an eggplant war broke out, the fires of which were fanned by our very own Dr. Shiv Chopra who traveled throughout India explaining GMOs to the crowds. India has several hundred varieties of this vegetable, a staple in the Indian diet. When India approved a GMO variety, 11 States declared themselves GMO-free zones, and a dozen federal cabinet ministers expressed their unconditional refusal to cooperate. A proposed law limiting freedom of speech on GMO issues was publicly dismissed as lunacy and is now under review; although Dr. Chopra suggested it might be useful because millions of people would crowd the jails and information on the truth of GMOs would spread unchecked and then pour forth from India’s jails to rid not only that country, but possibly the world of this science fiction nightmare.
One of the greatest successes was scored by the American people who rose in protest against a bill proposed by Senator McCain that would have essentially handed over the natural supplements industry to Big Pharma and abolished the current protective legislation. Bill S. 3002 was killed on March 10th.

Public Action Makes a Difference
What can we do to further this process of truth and freedom in Canada? We can support MP Alex Atamenenko’s federal bill C-474 (via www.cban.ca) which would make it mandatory to consider the trade implications for any genetically modified food product before it gets Health Canada approval. The fact is, nobody wants to buy this stuff in Europe, so why grow it?
We can support the NHPPA, which is poised to take legal action against Health Canada for its arbitrary abuse of natural health products. Visit their website and consider their requests before you pop that next vitamin capsule. There is intelligent life on planet Earth, and you can be proof of that fact.

We were disturbed to learn that health care workers shunned the swine flu vaccine in droves. Their training and skills will be essential if there is a dangerous flu outbreak. They, of all people, should know how important it is for them to get vaccinated — and that the risk of serious side effects is negligible.

The good news from a survey of health care workers conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the RAND Corporation is that 62 percent of them had received a vaccine to protect themselves against the standard seasonal flu by mid-January, a much higher percentage than in any previous season. By contrast, only 37 percent of the health care workers had received a vaccine against swine flu.

Although they were designated a high-priority group to get swine flu vaccine, many health workers remained indifferent or hostile. Luckily, the swine flu outbreak turned out to be comparatively mild — but there are no guarantees for the next time.

Medical personnel need to get vaccinated for two reasons beyond protecting themselves and their families. If they become ill, they will be unable to work at a time when their institutions most need them. And those who have direct contact with patients especially need immunization lest they spread illness and death among already vulnerable sick people. The reasons most frequently cited for ducking either vaccine were “I don’t need it” and “I may experience side effects.” Only 17 percent blamed difficulties in getting the late-arriving swine flu vaccine.

The survey found that when employers required their health care workers to get vaccinated against swine flu they got 87 percent compliance; when they recommended that workers get vaccinated, they got 43 percent compliance; and when they did neither, they got only 11 percent of their workers vaccinated.

That strengthens the case for making flu shots mandatory for all health care workers in coming years.

Obama condemns Graft but America runs on Lobby money

It is always strange to read about how the banks, pharmaceutical and chemical industries and all the major industries use money power to influence the outcome of what is happening in the USA. The Health Care issue and how much medicines will cost under it reflects this. The moves but the pharmaceutical industry to influence the outcome was clear and documented and the moneys and support given to the Democrats changed as the deals between the administration and the industry were worked out. Is this so much different to the graft Hamid Karzai seems to be accused of fostering in Afghanistan? Who steals and who is paid off is the way of the present.

Obama visits Afghanistan and tells his troops they will defeat the Taliban but also with his advisers is considering if the Taliban should be coaxed to the table and into the current government there. What is the deal that will make this happen and will we call it graft or just the price of new friends. Without graft there would be no government in Afghanistan and there is clear evidence that in America government is bought and controlled by vested interests. In the end both are the same.

Our ethics in America and worldwide are in shambles and it is no use calling the kettle black when greed is the underlying credo of both governments and money abounds from the powers who want to get their way. In Afghanistan it flows from Government and Obama's administration carps about it because it is their money and their embarrassment. In the USA it flows from the multinational corporations to the bureaucracy and downward to the contractors. In both cases it is the ordinary folks, you and I, who suffer. Under the name of democracy we are led to believe that the vote gives us power but at this point in the venture that does not seem to be true.

The world at large is being badly served by both democracy and the capitalistic system. Whether Capitalism will ever really be the way to a stable and fair system of business is a real question. Its object is money in the pocket and we have come to a time when most people agree that the multinational Corporations are running the world and use persuasion money to enhance their power. Whether it is money for campaigns to persuade people to vote for a candidate or money to moderate how much the health care plan will affect the pharmaceutical corporation's profits it matters little. In the end the people suffer the consequences.

As governments privatize more and more of what we always thought belonged to the people and were essential to the people is gone. What has happened is more cost to us with less security. The governments have become just money collectors for others and we get no real governing at all.

It seems clear that the idea of one world is a splendid one but for the major players like the banks and the large corporations it is optimal for it reduces the table to one player and a bunch of pawns to be played as they wish. The citizens of the world are being decimated from my perspective. Our welfare is really on the back burner and profit at any cost is where it is at today. Can we change this?

Only revolution seems to be able to change these things unfortunately. I neither advocate or embrace this but if real reform of our ethics is not forthcoming then revolution is all that is left to exact change.

The Nuclear Physics Department of the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka has discovered the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 155 assistant neutrons (aka ministrons), 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 442.

These 442 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2 - 6 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each re-organization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration.

This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.

When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that absorbs just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

It might be useful for you to know the extent to which homoeopathic medicines are used around the world. Globally, homoeopathy is an extremely popular modality and to reflect this, in 1999 the World Health Organisation (WHO) called for closer incorporation of homoeopathy into “western medical systems”1 and a ranking of the world’s top healing systems (including pharmaceutical drug therapy) carried out in 2003 had homoeopathy second only in popularity to Traditional Chinese Medicine2.

In Germany, 20% of medical practitioners prescribe homoeopathic medicines for their patients 3, 4, 5 and they’re used by 90% of German veterinarians6. It’s interesting that given the fact that homeopathy was originally developed by Dr Samuel Hahnemann in Germany, there isn’t a higher level of use by medical practitioners.

In the UK a study carried out in 1994 found that 10 out of the 16 university pharmacy schools taught homoeopathy as an undergraduate subject and in 1999, 66% of pharmacies sold homoeopathic medicines7, 8, 9 with some particular pharmacy groups such as Boots producing their own range of homoeopathic medicines10 . Still in the UK, there are 5 homoeopathic hospitals run by the British National Health Service (NHS), as well as 2 private homoeopathic hospitals and homoeopathy has been supported by the NHS since it’s inception in 194811, 12. A 1992 study found that 42% of British doctors refer their patients for homoeopathic treatment13 . By 2001 20% of Scottish GPs had been trained in homoeopathy 14 and by 2003, 86% of Scottish GPs surveyed were found to be in favour of homoeopathy 15 . Currently, homoeopathy is the second most popular complementary medicine in the UK 16, 17.

The situation in France is also interesting. Most French pharmacies carry these products18, 19 and in 1999 the French Medical Association called for homeopathy to be included in all medical degree training20. A 1998 study concluded that people using prescribed homoeopathic medicine cost the French government half of that for patients who used pharmaceutical treatments21, 22 .

Around the rest of Europe, 45% of doctors in the Netherlands use homoeopathy (40% of GPs in the Netherlands use homoeopathy23, 85% of Belgian medical practitioners provide homoeopathic treatment for their patients24, 25, 47% of Dutch doctors use homoeopathy26 and in the 10 years to 2002, interest in homoeopathy in Switzerland had risen by 300%27 and homoeopathy is rebatable by most health insurance providers27. In 1997, 37% of Norwegians who were surveyed had visited a homoeopath 28 and homoeopathy is the most frequently used system of veterinary medicine in Norway29.

In Europe generally, a 2003 survey found that 20-25% of all Europeans used homoeopathic medicines30, 31 and homoeopathy was the most frequently used complementary medicine in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Italy and Switzerland32. In 1999 The European Parliament called for homoeopathy to be integrated into medical practice33 and the EU recommended that homoeopathy and herbs be used as first line treatments in veterinary medicine34

Pakistan appears to have a high level of interest in homoeopathy. Last year, the Pakistani Government established homoeopathic dispensaries in Pakistani hospitals35 and there are 165 government recognised homoeopathic medicine colleges operating throughout the country36. For the last few years the Pakistan government has set up homoeopathic medicine camps to treat the pilgrims who travel on the Haj to Mecca. Last year, 50,000 people were treated in these camps37. In India, 54% of medical practitioners prescribe homoeopathic medicines38 .They are widely used in Indian hospitals and homoeopathy is the most commonly used complementary medicine in this country39, 40, 41.

In 2003 in Sri Lanka, construction began on a government-funded homoeopathic hospital at Welisara42 and Columbian President, Alvaro Uribe, uses homoeopathic medicines to “stay in mental shape”43. It’s estimated that there are 15,000 homoeopathic doctors practising in Brazil44 and it’s a government requirement that homoeopathy is taught as an undergraduate subject in all pharmacy courses at Brazilian universities45. In the USA, 58% of US medical schools teach homoeopathy46. In Australia, the level of use of these medicines is a little difficult to determine. One relatively recent study said that around 12% of Australians use homoeopathic medicines but this figure has yet to be verified47. However, 78% of pharmacies here carry products made from homoeopathic ingredients and many of the larger pharmacy groups recommend these products as a core range, i.e. it’s mandatory for anyone setting up one of these stores to have them on their shelves 48. In New Zealand49 and South Africa50, homoeopathy forms part of the undergraduate program in pharmacy courses in some universities.

Should the Government have control of what we eat

I saw this headline and it got me to thinking. I think it would be dangerous to say yes to this question. It raises the point of who controls the Government and how they could and even now do affect our Government. We are being badgered to take Vaccines and we are being asked to accept genetically modified foods and if you read the information you will come to realize as I do that this is a very dangerous road to take. This is all encouraged by the corporations that have billions to gain and who care little about our real natural bodies and the stasis that we all achieve if we take care of ourselves in the most natural ways possible.
Lets look at another question. Should the Government have control of what we do NOT eat.
This seems to be a more sensible question. To date as the Governments of the world are in the hands of lobbies and money from the large Corporations with much to gain we are being restricted by our health care systems through legislation and publicity against all alternative paradigms of healing. The finest example of this is in England where the anti homeopathic groups sponsored by the Pharmaceuticals are constantly working to have Homeopathy struck from CAM support. It is a travesty of justice that this is happening and the deep pockets of the Pharmaceutical industry just keeps hammering away to destroy all but their own dangerous drugs. The same can be said of the chemical companies who are destroying the very land we live on with fertilizers and one crop GMO farms with pesticides that kill parts of our food chain be they insects of all kinds and the birds and animals who could on variety and not vast tracts of one crop cultures.

Imagine if Governments took it upon themselves to tell us what we cannot eat. Coca cola, soda pops, might top the lists along with overrefined products and a more serious curtailment of alcohol and tobacco might be undertaken. These in the end cost much more money in health care than the taxes they earn.

Today in the Globe and Mail I spotted the article below concerning frogs whose sex were changed from male to female using a current and controversial weed killer Atrazine. In Homeopathy to find out what a remedy can be used for, healthy people will take measured doses of the substance and report what symptoms they encounter. This is called a proving.

The experiment on frogs is a proving and so we can expect that taking larger doses of the insecticide into our bodies will have some effect on our sexuality. Alarming to think of.

Weed killer can turn male frogs into females, study finds

Researchers' findings likely to fuel debate over chemical widely used on Canadian corn fields but banned in Europe. Researchers in the United States say they have turned male frogs into females by exposing the amphibians to tiny of atrazine, a weed killer widely used on corn fields in Canada and often found in water supplies in agricultural areas.

The chemically induced sex change occurred by dosing frogs at concentrations of the herbicide 50 per cent below Health Canada's guideline for drinking water.

When the amphibians that had been chemically turned into females copulated with other male frogs that weren't given the herbicide, they laid eggs and all the resulting tadpoles were males.

The discovery that in an experimental setting atrazine induces sex changes in frogs is likely to further increase the controversy over the chemical, which has been banned in Europe because it contaminates ground water but is one of
the most commonly used herbicides in North America.

The finding was based on a study led by researchers at the University of California Berkeley and released today online in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences [http://www.pnas.org], a major peer-reviewed U.S.journal. The study concluded that the males had been "chemically castrated" and "completely feminized." "There is no question that atrazine completely sex-reversed genetic [chromosome] males, resulting in reproductively functional females," it said.

The lead researcher, Tyrone Hayes, a professor of developmental endocrinology at the university, said the possibility that a herbicide can skew reproduction in frogs represents a potential new threat to the amphibians, whose populations are dwindling in many parts of the world.
"Everybody is focusing on things that kill frogs in terms of global amphibian decline, but you can easily imagine a population going extinct just because they don't breed properly," Dr. Hayes said.

All the atrazine sold in Canada is made by Syngenta AG, a Swiss-based seed and pesticide producer that has previously disputed findings that the herbicide hazardous. "We stand behind the safety of our product," said Judy Shaw, a company spokesperson.
She said Syngenta hasn't seen the latest research and isn't yet in a position to comment on it.

Atrazine has been dogged by controversy since the late 1980s, when it was found to cause mammary tumours in one strain of laboratory rats, a discovery followed by contested research indicating it may have gender bending impacts on
amphibians and other types of animals.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is currently re-evaluating the safety of the weed killer based on concerns it is polluting groundwater and may be a human health hazard. But in 2007 it rejected the view that the chemical can alter the sexual development of amphibians, in part because research hasn't consistently detected these effects.

Health Canada also conducted a review of atrazine released in 2007 that concluded the chemical doesn't "entail an unacceptable risk to the environment." But it is looking at the new research. "Health Canada is monitoring new findings on atrazine and will take additional regulatory action if necessary to protect human health and the environment," it said in a response to the study.

Regulators typically don't react immediately to new studies until their effects are confirmed by other scientists, which would give the results added weight.
Some researchers are skeptical about the sex change finding. The study speculated atrazine causes frogs to increase the amount of a key enzyme known as aromatase, that converts testosterone to estrogen. "That theory doesn't stand up to closer examination," contends Keith Solomon, a professor of environmental biology at
the University of Guelph. He said that previous testing hasn't found aromatase increases "in well-conducted laboratory studies."

In the new study, the researchers exposed a group of male African clawed frogs, a commonly used laboratory species, to 2.5 parts per billion of atrazine from hatching onward, and another male group to none of the chemical. Of the 40 exposed male frogs, four were turned into females, four were normal males, and the rest were emasculated,
with decreased testosterone levels, feminized larynxes, and decreased sperm production. None of the so-called control animals experienced gender changing impacts.

A part per billion is an extremely small amount, the equivalent of one second or elapsed time over a 32-year period. The experimental dose used was below Canada's drinking water guideline of 5 ppb, but above the safe wildlife exposure standard of 1.8 ppb. Figures contained in Health Canada's 2007 atrazine evaluation found concentrations in groundwater of up to 1.2 ppb.

A landmark paper on homeopathy and cancer has appeared in the February 2010 issue of the International Journal of Oncology. Scientists at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (MDA), led by Moshe Frenkel, MD, have confirmed the ability of four homeopathic remedies to induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in breast cancer cell lines in the laboratory. The scientists in question were from the Integrative Medicine Program, the Department of Molecular Pathology, and the Department of Melanoma Medical Oncology of MDA. Their two Indian collaborators were from the Banerji Homeopathic Research Foundation, Kolkata, India, where these same remedies are employed clinically with apparent success. The four ultra-dilute remedies in question were Carcinosin, Phytolacca, Conium and Thuja.

"The remedies exerted preferential cytotoxic effects against the two breast cancer cell lines, causing cell cycle delay/arrest and apoptosis" the authors wrote.

It was particularly interesting that the cell-killing effects of two of the remedies investigated in this study, Carcinosin and Phytolacca, appeared similar to the activity of paclitaxel (Taxol), the most commonly used chemotherapeutic drug for breast cancer, when it was tested in the same two adenocarcinoma cell lines investigated in this study.

Phytolacca is better known as pokeweed root, which grows as a towering weed in the US and elsewhere. Conium maculatum is poison hemlock, while Thuja occidentalis comes from the Eastern Arborvitae tree. Carcinosin is the only non-botanical in the group. It is made from a highly diluted extract of breast cancer tissue. These are typically used at the Banerjis' clinic in India to treat breast cancer. The use of poisonous plants to treat cancer, while unusual, is not necessarily controversial. Madagascar periwinkle, for instance, yields the familiar vinca alkaloids--vincristine and vinblastine. The aforementioned paclitaxel (Taxol) is derived from the bark of the Pacific Yew tree.

Even the use of a cancer tissue extract might be explained in immunological terms. No, what makes these remedies highly unusual is the degree to which they have been diluted. These are given in the Frenkel article as follows: Carcinosin, 30C; Conium maculatum, 3C; Phytolacca decandra, 200C and Thuja occidentalis, 30C.

The "C" Number

What exactly does this "C" number mean? It is indication of the dilution of the active ingredient in an inert medium such as water. Thus, a "3C" dilution means that there is one molecule of an herb like Conicum maculatum in one million molecules of inert medium. It is theoretically possible that a medicine could consist of just one part of a chemical in a million molecules of inert liquid. For instance, we know that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has set a limit of 2 ppm for polychlorinated biphenols (PCBs) in fish (two parts of PCBs per million parts of fish tissue, per Maxim, 1984).

But as the "C" number rises, so does the dilution. Samuel Hahnemann, MD, the 19th century inventor of homeopathy, used 30C dilutions for many diseases. This means that there is 1 molecule in "10 to the minus sixty" molecules of inert solvent. On average, this means you would have to give two billion doses of a 30C remedy per second to 6 billion people for 4 billion years in order to deliver a single molecule of the original material to any patient!

We didn't use up all the swine flu vaccine this year for one major reason and that was that people around the world did not believe there ever was a pandemic adn refused to take it no matter what Governments said. So with that in mind lets just add our Swine Flu vaccine to the yearly flu vaccine. Hey make money and get rid of an oversupply. Not a bad idea. That is now surfacing as what will soon be the case I am sure.

We are being duped in front of our eyes and no one is blowing a whistle that can get past the media control by the big Corporations. Well, we still have the internet. I wonder when like China we will start being censored.

I am lucky to read this and think about it for it gives me resolve in what I am doing with my life. In reading these passages it also brought to mind how far below his dreams we have become. Lincoln The Great Communicator

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, in Kentucky in a one room log cabin. From an early age he did manual labor and was only in school for a brief time. His education came from reading the few books he could find. He became a successful lawyer but attracted the attention of the nation when he became one of the chief members of the new Republican Party.

In 1860, Lincoln won the election for the presidency--even though he was not even on the ballot in a number of states in the South that promptly seceded after Lincoln's election. Lincoln wanted to save the Union and bring the southern states back. The resulting civil war was both bloody and very unpopular. He hated slavery, but many in the North were opposed to fighting to free the slaves and only wanted to make the southern states return to the Union. Lincoln saw his job as protecting the Union and was willing to allow slavery to continue--if he had do it. Criticized by people perhaps more than any president in our history, Lincoln persisted.

However, it was not through the power of his army but the ability of his words to communicate, not with the fears of the people but with their hopes and dreams, that not only saved the Union but also freed the slaves. Lincoln's success is also a reminder to all of us that it is not luck or the accident of birth that determines success, but the content of a person's character and ability to persist until a goal is reached. More has been written about Lincoln than any other American. We wanted to share with you some of wisdom of this self-taught man.

People sometimes ask me why I am so strong in my opposition to Pharmaceuticals and the AMA and the Governments who support this way of healing. The article below is one reason. They are irresponsible and continue to be so as much as possible to extend their earning powers. I am not prejudiced in this statement but just stating the obvious. What does any Pharmaceutical Company have to gain by not protecting its patients other than money.
When I read that the EU is doing an official investigation as to whether or not the Pharmaceutical companies pushed hard to get the WHO to declare a Pandemic when it is more and more clear that there is none and the hype is still going on perhaps you can see the clear reason for opposition on my part. I wish it were otherwise.
I am not happy about health in any way when the drug companies are rich and the Health Care system is broke and people have no more money. Does this not tell us something about horses and carts. The operative word is make money and patients for life are a good thing for they earn us money. I want to see people really getting well and not reliant on medicines and that is not what is presently here except for those who steer clear of the system.
If Governments stopped being led and started to examine honestly not only what is going on but how else they could care for people I would be happier.
Yes I see it as tragedy for this side of the fence, the side that is about healing, and the fence is high is kept out of the media except to denigrate with campaigns to smear and poison people against Homeopathy. I suppose you would have to follow their campaigns in England to see it in full bloom. It is all supported by the Pharmaceuticals and there is no response to be given for one is given no space in papers or media to respond. Burial is a place full of better ways of healing.clawing at the coffin side trying to be heard. I do not feel good about that.

In February of 2009, the FDA announced that they were going to require Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategies to be applied to dangerous prescription opioids like:

The FDA still seems to believe that there is something "dirty" about people who die from drug overdoses. They seem to have bought into the idea that these people did something wrong that caused the fatal overdose.

This explains why some at the FDA were happy to invite to testify at the REMS hearing a psychiatrist who acted like a paid stooge for the narcotic drug dealers. He said that the only people who overdose on these opioids were people who abused them and did not take the drugs as prescribed.

One of the people with me, Ed Vanicky, was there because he lost his wife to an overdose of these narcotics and she was taking the drugs exactly as prescribed.

This morning I read in the New York TImes and it is news everywhere that the Supreme Court of the United States has overturned the law restricting Corporation spending: that the government may not ban political spending by corporations in candidate elections. Citing the First Amendment as support for this action it places a corporation in the same category as an individual. America the bastion of freedom and equality has lost a major battle for now Corporations is equated with an individual and can freely wield its money to the side that supports them.

It is a terrible loss for now what has been going on behind our backs but with at least some recourse in law will be openly done with no recourse. This, in the clear evidence that Corporations are not people but businesses with the sole first purpose of earning profit for its owners. How many cases against Corporations are in the courts that are challenging the destruction of the world we live in and the people who live in it?

Starting with the Banks and its rape of ordinary citizens, the Chemical companies that are destroying the earth , the Pharmaceutical that are poisoning the people of the earth, we and the earth are at war to survive. It is not global warming or cooling that is the enemy of our survival but Greed. This began centuries ago, since man has been able to write history we know this, and it is now coming to fruition. Like all religions we are being eaten from inside by Greed for both wealth and power over man.

Greed causes destruction and is firmly set throgh the porfit motive in the Corporation and the Executives who run them; innocent patsies beholden to pieces of paper that they willingly obey: Poisoning the world, themselves and their own children's minds and bodies to satisfy the Corporate weal. The war is in full swing around the world.

We, each and every one of us are the enemy of the corporation and we are being chopped down to manageable no different than the forest in Brazil by unbridled Greed. We are brainwashed to accept our fate as what must be.

We are losing the war right now for even though there are pockets of resistance we are yet to take our destinies back from our enemy the Corporation with its unending money to have its bidding done. So far the Corporation has won every battle by every group to bring sanity back to our lives. The Corporation is amoral and in that it is immoral. It does not judge itself except by its monitary growth and all others measures are of no real interest save to support their prime directive.

It is not enough for individuals to rail, for small groups to rail or even for governments to rail unless we all rail together and deny the Corporation its current place of power by taking away its profits. Margaret Mead said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful people can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

We have a small group and it is called Mankind and we have a way of talking to each other and joining forces to battle and that is the Internet. We have to be openly subversive until as a mass we crush our enemy. It is a final passive resistance that is the only way to win.

We have to put down our own personal greed and turn a deaf ear to the brainwashing of the Corporations. We have to put down our fears and embrace modesty as a proper way of being and know that sharing will bring us back to family, friends and community. In respecting all we respect ourselves.

Do we have the strength left to fight this final battle? We cannot know unless we gird our loins and take up the cry. The world is one and devided we die.

The Swine Flu vaccine is perhaps the first time people have wond a battle. We have seen massive scare tactics by the Governments, WHO and the Pharmas FAIL because we refused the brainwashing. I am sending you a link to a letter from the school board (posted on my blog) which threatens a Toronto family to remove their child from their care if he is not medicated. The child was recently diagnosed ADHD because staff feel he is not complying and performing well in school. The father has adamantly refused pharmaceuticals as a first treatment option and is actively investigating natural treatment options. He questions the ADHD diagnosis. He has been educating himself and has contacted a renowned Toronto physician (Dr. Zoltan Rona) who has turned to natural treatments as his primary prescription. As you may know, my own son was removed from my care when I refused the prescribed pharmaceutical and residential treatment options for his 'mental illness' - a diagnosis that changed because he became so well after I treated him with natural treatments (food elimination and vitamins). I fought and had him returned, but the events traumatized both of us.

You may not know that the American Food and Drug Administration classes Ritalin as a Schedule II substance - the same type of stimulant as cocaine, morphine, and opium, but recognized to be more addictive. The World Health Organization and the U.N. International Control Board have issued two official warnings about the drug and the growing dependence - particularly in America - to it. Some European countries have banned it. Many doctors are now recommending that pharmaceutical treatment for children should not be the first treatment option. Some children die from long term use of Ritalin, and there are a host of other long term side effects. Ritalin and SSRI antidepressants have been linked conclusively to acts of violence in children and teens:

* Shawn Cooper, a 15-year-old sophomore at Notus Junior-Senior High School in Notus, Idaho, fired a shotgun at his fellow students in April. Cooper was on Ritalin.
* Thomas Solomon, a 15-year-old at Heritage High School in Conyers, Georgia, shot and wounded six classmates in May. Solomon was on Ritalin.
* Kip Kinkel, a 15-year-old at Thurston High School in Springfield, Oregon, killed his parents and two classmates and wounded 22 other students last year. Kinkel was on Ritalin and Prozac, an anti-depressant.
* Eric Harris, one of the Columbine High School killers, was on the anti-depressant drug Luvox.
* Rod Matthews, 14, beat a classmate to death with a baseball bat in 1986 in Canton, Massachusetts. Matthews had been on Ritalin since the third grade.

Magic is a personal decision and so 2010 is officially magic in my lexicon of numbers. Sounds good doesn't it. Sort of foolish but then what we cannot know we can believe what we want. I can believe what I want.

Is it truer if more people believe it? Not if we cannot know. And yet the human over the centuries has created his belief systems mostly based on what he cannot know. Vast empires of religions have risen and fallen or lie stagnant waiting for a shriveling up and all are based on what we cannot know.

There is lots than we can know. Humans have the capacity to experience and learn from observation. We can store information and have learned to store it even into electronic space so we can gain experience even without experiencing things directly. Thus over time through experiences we can directly learn and know.

I have been one to learn mostly by experiencing first hand. It is only later in my life that words and what they mean have come more to the fore of my mind. My real experiences in life through film making, healing and teaching get me to this point of real confidence in the reality of what I can know.

What I cannot know is of use as well. As I get older I get both more controlled and wilder in my creativity at every level. I explore my curiosity continually for it challenges me at every turn.

I meditate. It helps me stay in charge of my mind more Slowly the wild child is settling down to perform the more serious work of the person I am. The healer, helper and motivator; the artist, creator and activist.

Today I was sent an article in which the FDA has now publicly stated to beware of Homeopathy and several other medicines being suggested to deal with the flu. I was horrified to see this. How dare they. I wrote about my indignation to Alan Phillips who is an advocate of Homeopathy and a lawyer who works tirelessly on behalf of Homeopathy. His response gives me great hope and the courage to continue what I do to get the word out that Homeopathy is a superb paradigm of healing. Following is his answer to me.

Since a majority of people polled have serious reservations about the swine flu vaccine, I have to at least tentatively conclude that a growing number of people are not taking government health officials at face value. It seems to me that they are making a mistake to take the hard line that they have on the necessity of vaccines and pharmaceuticals and against other approaches. The more they dig in their heals and draw hard lines, the more they force these issues into an "all or nothing" category that eventually undermines their authority.

The swine flu situation is unique in many respects--perhaps most noteworthy is the fact that despite mainstream media hype, a majority of people have concerns about the official position. While unsettling for us as individuals, this bodes well for society, if it evidences or portends a crack in the authoritative "egg", the no-questions-asked-you-guys-are-the-experts hold they have held over us for so many decades now.

We certainly have our work cut out for us, but more and more people are looking into things on their own, and coming to their own conclusions. I think we're moving in the right direction. The fact that the FDA feels the need to discredit homeopathy by name is an indication that homeopathy poses a threat to the pharmaceutical industry. So while I do not applaud the act, it is, at least in that regard, a good indicator. We may be moving in the right direction!

I understand little and know less but I am an experiential healer using Homeopathy and Bach Flower Remedies. I carry the books for everyday diagnosing and a large kit of Homeopathic remedies either 6C 30C or 200C and all the Bach flowers. I let the patient choose and if I have the remedy I offer. If taken I will always go some time later and ask what happened. I ask myself that too. Almost always there is improvement and sometimes it is startling.
I know Homeopathy and the Flower Remedies are effective.

I have been reading your magazine for many months, sometimes understanding what is being said and most often not. But I enjoy every moment with the articles both on the practical side and the scholarly side. I too marvel at the energy/directional electricity that renders itself into mathematical equations and am so happy that our Einsteins are progressing. Not that I care other than it may mean more people will embrace the remedies and reap the rewards.

I often laugh with excited joy as I read and learn here.

Anther report about CDC misrepresenting Swine Flu dangers

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states on their main flu Web site http://www.cdc.gov/flu/ that flu activity is increasing in the United States, with most states reporting "widespread influenza activity."

The CDC goes on to say, and I quote:

"So far, most flu is 2009 H1N1 flu (sometimes called "swine flu")."

But wait stop the presses.

A three-month-long investigation by CBS News, released earlier this week that included state-by-state test results, revealed some very different facts. The CBS study found that H1N1 flu cases are NOT as prevalent as feared. A CBS article even states:

"If you've been diagnosed "probable" or "presumed" 2009 H1N1 or "swine flu" in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn't have H1N1 flu. In fact, you probably didn't have flu at all."

Obviously CBS News and the CDC are completely contradicting each other. So who is right?

Well, CBS reports that in late July 2009 the CDC advised states to STOP testing for H1N1 flu, and they also stopped counting individual cases.

Their rationale for this, according to CBS News, was that it was a waste of resources to test for H1N1 flu because it was already confirmed as an epidemic.

So just like that virtually every person who visited their physician with flu-like symptoms since late July was assumed to have H1N1, with no testing necessary because, after all, there's an epidemic.

It's interesting to note that at the same time as the CDC decided the H1N1 epidemic warranted no further testing for cases due to its epidemic status, Finnish health authorities actually downgraded the threat of swine flu.

In late July the health ministry and the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) in Finland actually removed swine flu from a list of diseases considered dangerous to the public because the majority of cases recovered without medication or hospital care!

And, as the CDC continues to use fear to motivate and control Americans with their worst-case swine flu scenarios, they say nothing of the experience of those in the southern hemisphere, which just finished their flu season and found it was not as bad as expected.

CBS News Finds H1N1 Tests "Overwhelmingly Negative"

Before beginning their investigation, CBS News asked the CDC for state-by-state test results prior to their halting of testing and tracking. The CDC did not initially respond so CBS went to all 50 states directly, asking for their statistics on state lab-confirmed H1N1 prior to the halt of individual testing and counting in July.

What did they find? CBS reported:

"The results reveal a pattern that surprised a number of health care professionals we consulted. The vast majority of cases were negative for H1N1 as well as seasonal flu, despite the fact that many states were specifically testing patients deemed to be most likely to have H1N1 flu, based on symptoms and risk factors, such as travel to Mexico."

As you can see from this CBS News graphic, not only are most cases of suspected flu-like illnesses not H1N1, they're not even the flu but more likely some type of cold or upper respiratory infection!

Where is the CDC Getting Their Data?

Given CBS News' findings that most cases of flu-like illnesses are neither H1N1 nor the flu, it begs the question: Why is the CDC reporting that most flu in the United States is in fact H1N1?

Barbara Loe Fisher, founder of the National Vaccine Information Center who I spoke with in the interview above, was a consumer representative on the FDA Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee in 2003, and she asked the head of the influenza branch of the CDC how much of the flu-like illness that occurs in America every year is actually due to the flu.

The answer was about 20 percent, which corresponds more closely with the CBS News data from 2009.

According to the CBS News study, when you come down with chills, fever, cough, runny nose, malaise and all those other "flu-like" symptoms, the illness is likely caused by influenza at most 17 percent of the time and as little as 3 percent! The other 83 to 97 percent of the time it's caused by other viruses or bacteria.

So remember that not every illness that appears to be the flu actually is the flu. In fact, most of the time it's not.

Curiously, the CDC still advises those who were told they had 2009 H1N1 (and therefore should be immune to getting it again) to get vaccinated unless they had lab confirmation.

Is the CDC Purposely Misinforming the Public to Sell More Flu and H1N1 Vaccines?

Conflicts of interest are rampant in the vaccination infrastructure. The same people who are regulating and promoting vaccines are also evaluating vaccine safety.

For instance, Dr. Paul Offit of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia earned at least $29 million as part of a $182-million sale by the hospital of its worldwide royalty interest in the Merck Rotateq vaccine. He also formerly sat on the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to help create the market for rotavirus vaccine

This type of conflict of interest has been going on for some time.

In August 1999, the Committee on Government Reform initiated an investigation into Federal vaccine policy. During the investigation the Committee extensively reviewed financial disclosure forms and related documents and interviewed key officials from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the CDC.

It was revealed that many individuals on two key advisory committees had financial ties to pharmaceutical companies that manufacture vaccines. These individuals were even granted waivers allowing them to fully participate in discussions about vaccine licensing and recommendations for children, despite the fact that federal law states members of advisory committees are required to disclose such ties and recuse themselves from such discussions and decisions.

Further, the investigation revealed that the FDA's and CDC's conflict of interest rules were not strongly enforced while the rules themselves were weak. Specific problems noted by the Committee included:

* The CDC routinely granted waivers from conflict of interest rules to many members of its advisory committee.
* Those CDC advisory committee members who were not allowed to vote on certain recommendations due to financial conflicts of interest were still allowed to actively participate in committee deliberations and advocate specific positions.
* The Chairman of the CDC's advisory committee owned 600 shares of stock in Merck, a pharmaceutical company with an active vaccine division.
* Members of the CDC's advisory committee often left key details out of their financial disclosure statements, and were not required to provide the missing information by CDC ethics officials.

And, when the FDA and CDC approved the controversial rotavirus vaccine in 1998 and 1999, the Committee's report said:

* 3 out of the 5 FDA advisory committee members who voted to approve the rotavirus vaccine in December 1997 had financial ties to the pharmaceutical companies that were developing different versions of the vaccine.
* 4 out of the 8 CDC advisory committee members who voted to approve guidelines for the rotavirus vaccine in June 1998 had financial ties to pharmaceutical companies that were developing different versions of the vaccine.

The rotavirus vaccine was pulled from the market one year after approval, after it was found to cause severe bowel obstructions.

Given their sordid history, can the CDC really be trusted, even today? Do you think that much has changed in just one decade?

Is the H1N1 Vaccine Really Safe as the CDC Says it Is?

CDC officials are screaming that H1N1 is so different from the seasonal influenza strains that have circulated in the past few decades that a national alarm must be sounded and everyone needs to be so afraid that we all should get vaccinated to prevent a deadly pandemic.

Yet, they say the new H1N1 vaccine is safe based on vaccines for that very same flu strain from which it is so different. They write on their Web site "the 2009 H1N1 influenza vaccines are expected to have similar safety profiles as seasonal flu vaccines ..."

Another contradiction.

While symptoms of H1N1 flu and seasonal flu are virtually identical, the H1N1 vaccine is showing signs of being quite different from the seasonal flu shot.

Although both are produced using antiquated 50-year-old technology that involves injecting the virus into eggs and allowing it to grow, the virus being used to produce the swine flu vaccine has been found to reproduce much more slowly in eggs than the ordinary flu virus.

And according to a separate CBS News report, the U.S. government is now funding newer unprecedented technologies to speed up vaccine production, including one that involves growing the virus inside animal cells and another that involves flu proteins grown inside insect cells.

The risks of these, and the current fast-tracked swine flu vaccine, are truly unknown at this time.

There is NO Incentive for the CDC or Vaccine Manufacturers to Care About Safety

You may think that the CDC and the vaccine manufacturers must be concerned about safety, as if they released a dangerous vaccine and promoted it to the American public, imagine the lawsuits they would face.

This is actually no longer reality as the U.S. government has granted vaccine makers total legal immunity from any lawsuits that result from the new swine flu vaccine.

In fact, drug manufacturers got a major boost in protection and were granted unprecedented powers to experiment on the population with the passing of the 2006 Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (the PREP Act).

This law allows the DHHS Secretary to invoke almost complete immunity from liability for manufacturers of vaccines and drugs used to combat a declared public health emergency, which the "swine flu pandemic" qualifies as.

The PREP Act removes your right to a trial jury unless you can provide clear evidence of willful misconduct that resulted in death or serious physical injury. But that's not all. First you must apply for and be granted permission to sue by the DHHS Secretary.

The most problematic aspect of the PREP Act is that it removes all financial incentive to make a safe product.

In fact, vaccine makers now have a negative incentive to test it for safety, because if they are aware of problems, then they could potentially be held liable for willful misconduct!

As long as they can prove they "didn't know" of any problem, they will not be liable for damages. Hence it's in their best interest to know as little as possible about the adverse reactions it might cause.

It seems unimaginable, but you and your children are now being enlisted as an unpaid human trial subjects for experimental, fast-tracked vaccines like the swine flu vaccine.

Even if They Were Effective or Safe, Most Vaccines Will Come Too Late

Recent national polls have revealed that 30 percent to 50 percent in many communities are not planning to get a swine flu shot ... but there are many who are still ready to stand in line.

But I wanted to share one final detail, and that is a new study just released by Purdue University researchers and published in the journal Eurosurveillance.

The researchers found that at this point in time any vaccinations that are given in the United States will likely have little effect on the number of infections. The researchers state:

"The model predicts that there will be a significant wave in autumn, with 63% of the population being infected, and that this wave will peak so early that the planned CDC vaccination campaign will likely not have a large effect on the total number of people ultimately infected by the pandemic H1N1 influenza virus."

In other words, infections are predicted to peak in late October (now) and by the end of the year it's estimated that 63 percent of the U.S. population will have been infected with H1N1 swine flu.

What does this mean? By the end of the year the majority of the U.S. population will have likely acquired natural immunity.

Natural immunity is what you gain when you recover from influenza and natural immunity is what is protecting older Americans, who have recovered from exposure to H1N1 strains of influenza in the past and are therefore less susceptible today.

This new revelation, coupled with CBS News' finding that swine flu cases are already being greatly overestimated ... and the fact that vaccines do not offer long-term immunity anyway ... and the questionable motives behind CDC's massive vaccination campaign ... puts an entirely different slant on the swine flu "epidemic," don't you think?

If you are still concerned about the swine flu, you should know that it is relatively easy to improve your immune response to fight this infection. If 99.9% of the people are not having any serious complications from H1N1, it would seem perfectly rational to believe that minor lifestyle changes could have dramatic effects on fighting this infection, and none of these involve taking potentially dangerous and unproven vaccine interventions.

Recently an organization calling itself the Voice of Young Science Network called on the World Health Organization (WHO) to condemn the promotion of homeopathy for TB, infant diarrhea, influenza, malaria and HIV in 3rd world countries.

A visit to the website of this group revealed that they are nothing more than a propaganda arm of the chemical, pharmaceutical and nuclear industries. The articles posted on their website claim that pesticides are safe, nuclear wastes are easily dealt with, genetically engineered foods are just misunderstood (“ leading to costly regulatory burden”), synthetic chemicals are safer than natural substances and so on. These are standard industry talking points and the articles actually fly in the face of current science. The group’s list of funders includes: AstraZeneca, The Biochemical Society, Biotechnology and Biological Research Council, British Institute of Radiology and the British Pharmacological Society. Need I say more?

Their letter to the WHO was meant to evoke a response which could be used to disparage homeopathy. Certain members of the WHO played into this charade and issued statements declaring (incorrectly) that there was no evidence of homeopathy’s effectiveness for the above mentioned conditions. The BBC then ran the headline “Homeopathy Not a Cure”, and dramatic headlines sell more papers than the truth. Even a cursory review of homeopathy’s historical and current successes gives the lie to that statement.

This group also stated “When homeopathy stands in place of effective treatment, lives are lost”. Not true. A relative handful of homeopaths have travelled to impoverished countries to assist after natural disasters or where effective medical treatment was not available. In doing so, they have saved countless lives. Actually, the counter charge is more accurate. The latest statistics show that conventional medicine is the leading cause of death in the U.S. 1

Blinded by profit, certain individuals attempt to fool the masses by maligning homeopathy, a medical science which offers the best hope of healing a world sick of chemicals, drugs and pollutants. Where will it all end? In spite of misleading statements from the WHO and disparaging headlines, the people will not be fooled. Those 500 million people who use homeopathy, learned its magic with their bodies and that’s knowledge they trust. As the poet Carl Sandburg said, “The people know the salt of the sea and the strength of the winds… the people will live on”. And homeopathy will live on.

I think that we are animals and as such there is a balanced way we can stay alive for our length of time on earth just like any other animal. It should actually require no intervention at all. If all things are balanced in diet and exercise it should go well but our minds alter this. Mind brings stress because of desire;wanting and a million decisions to be made continually. So stress alters the stasis of the human animal; any animal for that matter.

I think the human should go with the body flow and try to find ways to support it.
The least healthy nation in the world is America the bastion of the pharmaceutical industry. Their first nation where altering the bodies functioning through interventions is the norm rather than the rarity.

How sad it is to hear the stories of people my age and younger telling of their medications and the side effects and the changes of dosage and their cost for little or no benefit and certainly none without a negative consequence of some sort.

Is it not a shame? Should we really get old and find ourselves beholden to one medicine after another to stay alive and then at damning cost and only partial relief and debilitating negative parts to what has been given.

The 1918 `Spanish Flu` was first reported in an American military, Camp Funston, Fort Riley, in troops preparing for WW1 and receiving 25 vaccinations. A Friday thought about corporations

I posted this on a discussion on the American Health Care debate on Growing Bolder.

In the world today the Corporations are the rulers. With massive profits they can spend what is necessary through lobbies, the media and through private inducements; enough money to control not only Governments but through its fear campaigns the people of the world.

To rise above this horrendous and constant control is something that will take the People to do. We are really in a different kind of war right now that does not take weapons but takes grassroots upheaval to resist being controlled in this way.

Without the huge financial resources of our enemy we can only hope that forums like this and the open networks on the Web will be our way to gather strength to fight this enemy. We do this by learning there are simpler ways of being and that new cars and more chattels do not make happier people.

Live simply and with thought and watch how we will change not only ourselves but the world about us.

A Question appropriate to the Health Care debate

The question that is appropriate is are we practicing the right kind of health care. Are the AMA, FDA, WHO and most governments actually correct in their assumptions of how to treat the human body. I think the other techniques of healing that are not invasive should be our first lines of defense. Many are valid and gentle and homeopathy is effective, has no side effects and is reasonable in cost.

At this time when we are in such a detailed examination of your system of health we should be asking this question too, for it is obvious that the corporation giants of the pharmaceutical industry have co-opted our system and the cost is unconscionable and its benefits only temporary.

Our future generations will suffer horribly if we continue weakening the human through invading the body with drug and vaccines. Mankind - What once is the most successful pinnacle of universal consciousness realized will have been destroyed.

FEAR - THE NEW WORLD EPIDEMIC Dr. Bach's understandings

I have used this heading before. It is the strongest ally of the pharmaceuticals in their current arsenal to get the world to take flu vaccines. The WHO (World Health Organization) supports this tactic with news flashes to keep us frightened. FDA, AMA, and government health programs in many countries have opted into this fear and the cost both emotionally and financially is devastating to our health care budgets.

Here below is what Dr. Edward Bach wrote about the subject in 1931. It was sent to me by Flower Essences Services after we had a conversation about Bach's Rescue Remedy. It could have been written yesterday.

Dr. Edward Bach on the fear of disease:

In this age the fear of disease has developed until it has become a great power for harm, because it opens the door to those things we dread and makes it easier for their admission. Such fear is really self-interest, for when we are earnestly absorbed in the welfare of others there is no time to be apprehensive of personal maladies. Fear at the present time is playing a great part in intensifying disease, and modem science has increased the reign of terror by spreading abroad to the general public its discoveries, which as yet are but half-truths.

The knowledge of bacteria and the various germs associated with disease has played havoc in the minds of tens of thousands of people, and by the dread aroused in them has in itself rendered them more susceptible of attack. While lower forms of life, such as bacteria, may play a part in or be associated with physical disease, they constitute by no means the whole truth of the problem, as can be demonstrated scientifically or by everyday occurrences. There is a factor which science is unable to explain on physical grounds, and that is why some people become affected by disease while others escape, although both classes may be open to the same possibility of infection. Materialism forgets that there is a factor above the physical plane which in the ordinary course of life protects or renders susceptible any particular individual with regard to disease, of whatever nature it may be.

Fear, by its depressing effect on our mentality, thus causing disharmony in our physical and magnetic bodies, paves the way for invasion, and if bacteria and such physical means were the sure and only cause of disease, then indeed there might be but little encouragement not to be afraid. But when we realise that in the worst epidemics only a proportion of those exposed to infection are attacked and that, as we have already seen, the real cause of disease lies in our own personality and is within our control, then have we reason to go about without dread and fearless, knowing that the remedy lies with ourselves. We can put all fear of physical means alone as a cause of disease out of our minds, knowing that such anxiety merely renders us susceptible, and that if we are endeavouring to bring harmony into our personality we need anticipate illness no more than we dread being struck by lightning or hit by a fragment of a falling meteor.

It sounds like a simple idea for improving health care: draw up guidelines on how best to treat a particular illness and then pay doctors to follow
them. That strategy, which some insurers and health plans already employ, has been embraced during the health care debate by some lawmakers in Congress who want to extend it more broadly.

The goal is to improve treatment and, at the same time, save money. But setting guidelines that are good for every patient, it turns out, can get messy, with some experts warning that a big national plan of this sort poses risks. A recent case involving treatment for diabetes, one of the nation’s most pervasive illnesses, illustrates the difficulties.

Last year, a national guideline-setting group abruptly withdrew a controversial diabetes standard it adopted in 2006 that called for aggressive control of blood sugar, or glucose. The change came after a large federal study indicated that lowering glucose too quickly or too much in some patients could harm or even kill them.

In medical journal articles and elsewhere over the last year, some diabetes experts have lashed out at the group’s initial decision to approve the guideline, saying they warned back in 2006 that it was medically ill-advised for some patients.
“This was a case in which the advocates of a disease got caught up in their disease rather than the interests of patients,” said Dr. Rodney A. Hayward, a diabetes expert at the University of Michigan who had opposed the benchmark.

Critics like Dr. Hayward have also suggested that pharmaceutical companies influenced the guideline so they could sell more glucose-lowering drugs like insulin. The group that set the guideline, a Washington organization called the National Committee for Quality Assurance, received about $3 million, or 10 percent of its revenue, last year from drug and medical device makers. The group’s officials, and several outside experts who advise it, rejected such suggestions of industry influence. Still, some experts question why the group, which sets standards that are widely used by insurers and private health plans, should take even small amounts of drug-industry money.
“There should not be any industry funding of a group that is involved in working on national guidelines,” said Dr. Jerome E. Groopman, a professor of medicine at Harvard.

To many experts, the diabetes case shows how setting one guideline that works for all patients suffering from the same disease can be tricky. The main problem is that many guidelines are based not on rigorous studies like clinical trials but on weaker types of medical evidence. And critics like Dr. Groopman have argued that the guideline-setting process is often influenced by industry or by medical ideologues looking to advance their personal agendas.
“These guidelines often come out of specialty societies who tend to want to treat rather than not to treat,” said Arthur Levin, the executive director
of the Center for Medical Consumers, a patient advocacy group. Mr. Levin also serves as an adviser to the National Committee for Quality Assurance and took part in the diabetes decision.

The diabetes controversy began after several studies showed that patients with diabetes could significantly benefit from tighter control of their blood sugar. As a result, in 2005, the American Diabetes Association, along with others, began urging the National Committee on Quality Assurance to adopt an aggressive glucose control standard. The group’s guidelines are used by insurers and others to assess the performance of
doctors who work for them and, in some cases, to determine whether they qualify for a bonus.

On its face, the glucose proposal made sense. Excess levels of glucose can cause some of the worst complications of diabetes, including blindness and kidney failure. But lowering glucose too much can also create problems for some patients, particularly older, sicker ones, causing them to black out or to have seizures.

Pointing to such risks, some doctors like Dr. Hayward, who also works for the Veterans Administration, opposed extending the guideline too broadly. They said that one significant group of diabetics, those who also had heart problems or cardiovascular disease, had never been studied during the trials that showed the benefits of aggressive glucose control.

But supporters of the move, like Dr. Richard Kahn, then a top official of the American Diabetes Association, rejected such arguments. Dr. Kahn argued that even if the standard were adopted, doctors would still have plenty of discretion about how to treat their patients. “All of us can no longer sit silently thinking that our discipline is unified toward improving diabetes care,” he wrote in a 2006 e-mail message as the argument unfolded.

In mid-2006, a panel assembled by the National Committee for Quality Assurance that included insurers, major employers, doctors and Mr. Levin, the patient advocate, unanimously approved the new standard. Critics like Dr. Hayward were furious and later said they believed that diabetes experts with drug-industry ties had played a role in guiding the decision.

Both Mr. Levin and another adviser to the quality committee — Dr. Paul Wallace of Kaiser Permanente, the big health care provider — said they saw no evidence of that. Also, officers of the National Committee for Quality Assurance insist that medical products companies, who sponsor some of the group’s activities, do not play a role in setting its treatment standards. The diabetes standard was not in place for long. It was challenged last year when federal researchers abruptly halted a study of glucose control in older diabetics with cardiovascular disease, the group not previously studied.

In that trial, researchers aggressively treated patients with a variety of drugs in an effort to bring their glucose down to the level of a person without diabetes, but patients receiving the treatment started dying at an unexpected rate.

In light of the findings, the National Committee for Quality Assurance withdrew its standard and convened an expert panel that this time included critics like Dr. Hayward. A year ago, the group issued a more nuanced guideline that, among other things, exempted patients over 55 years old with heart or cardiovascular problems.

Those who opposed the initial measure, like Dr. Joseph Selby, a research director at Kaiser Permanente, feel their position has been vindicated. They see a straightforward lesson from the episode: faulty guidelines can pose risks to patients, particularly when linked to doctors’ pay, which is an idea under consideration in Washington.
If such treatment guidelines are created “in the absence of good evidence,” Dr. Selby said, “you risk perversion or even harm.”

Take a moment and read some wisdom about living.

This letter was written by Samuel Hahnemann in the 1800s and is to his patient, who was a tailor in Gotha and died at the age of ninety-two. It is so filled with advice that must be of benefit to every one in this age of haste - (Monthly Hom. Review, Vol. 31, p. 617. N. E. Med. Gazette, March, 1887.)

"My Dear Mr. X- :

" It is true that I am going to Hamburg, but that need not trouble you. If you do not grudge the few groschen a letter will cost you can still have my advice when I am there. Merely write my name, and Hamburg beneath it, and your letter so addressed will find me.

" For the present I must say that you are on the fair road to health, and the chief sources of your malady cut off. One source still remains, and it is the cause of your last relapse. Man (the delicate human machine) is not constituted for overwork, he cannot overwork his powers or faculties with impunity.

If he does so from ambition, love of gain, or other praiseworthy or blameworthy motive, he sets himself in opposition to the order of nature, and his body suffers injury or destruction.

All the more if his body is already in a weakened condition ; what you cannot accomplish in a week you can do in two weeks. If your customers will not wait they cannot fairly expect that you will for their sakes make yourself ill and work yourself to the grave, leaving your wife a widow and your children orphans.

It is not only the greater bodily exertion that injures you, it is even more the attendant strain on the mind, and the overwrought mind in its turn affects the body injuriously. If you do not assume an attitude of cool indifference, adopting the principle of living first for yourself and only secondly for others, then there is small chance of your recovery.

Men you are in your grave men will still be clothed, perhaps not as tastefully, but still tolerably well.

" If you are a philosopher you may become healthy, you may attain to old age. If anything annoys you give no heed to it ; if anything is too much for you have nothing to do with it ; if any one seeks to drive you go slowly and laugh at the fools who wish to make you unhappy. What you can do comfortably that do ; what von cannot do don't bother yourself about.

"Our temporal circumstances are not improved by overpressure at work. You must spend proportionately more in your domestic affairs, and so nothing is gained. Economy, limitation of superfluities (of which the hard worker has often very few) place us in a position to live with greater comfort- that is to say, more rationally, more intelligently, more in accordance with nature, more cheerfully, more quietly, more healthily.

Thus we shall act more commendably, more wisely, more prudently, than by working in breathless hurry, with our nerves, constantly overstrung, to the destruction of the most precious treasure of life, calmly happy spirits and good health.

"Be you more prudent, consider yourself first, let everything else be of only secondary importance for you. And should they venture to assert that you are in honor bound to do more than is good for your mental and physical powers, even then do not, for God's sake, allow yourself to be driven to do what is contrary to your own welfare.

Remain deaf to the bribery of praise, remain cold and pursue your own course slowly and quietly like a wise and sensible man. To enjoy with tranquil mind and body, that is what man is in the world for, and only to do as much work as will procure him the means of enjoyment --- certainly not to excoriate and wear himself out with work.

" The everlasting pushing : and striving of blinded mortals in order to gain so and so much, to secure some honor or other, to do a service to this or that great personage - this is generally fatal to our welfare, this is a common cause of young people ageing and dying before their time.

" The calm, cold-blooded man, who lets things softly glide, attains his object also, lives more tranquilly and healthily, and attains a good old age.

And this leisurely man sometimes lights upon a lucky idea, the fruit of serious original thought, which shall give a much more profitable impetus to his temporal affairs than can ever be gained by the overwrought man who can never find time to collect his thoughts. –

" In order to win the race, quickness is not all that is required. Strive to obtain a little indifference, coolness and calmness, then you will be what I wish you to be.

Then you will see marvellous things ; you will see how healthy you will become by following my advice. Then shall your blood course through your blood vessels calmly and sedately, without effort and without heat. No horrible dreams disturb the sleep. of him who lies down to rest without highly strung nerves.

The man who is free from care wakes in the morning without anxiety about the multifarious occupations of the day. What does he care ?

The happiness of life concerns him more than anything else. With fresh vigor he sets about his moderate work, and at his meals nothing, no ebullitions of blood, no cares, no solicitude of mind hinders him from relishing what the beneficent Preserver of Life sets before him.

And so one day follows another in quiet succession, until the final day of advanced age brings him to the termination of a well spent life, and he serenely reposes in an other world as he has calmly lived in this one.

"Is not that more rational, more sensible ? Let restless, self destroying men act as irrationally, as injuriously towards themselves as they please ; let them be fools. But be you wiser !

Immanuel Wallerstein wrote this and it is quoted on Page 260 of The Age of the Unthinkable by Joshua Cooper Ramo. It is near the end of the book when he exhorts us all to realize that we are all a part of history, in history so to speak,and we all can act or not. Our world thinking right now is guided by one mindedness of purpose whether its save the banks, fight the Taliban or vaccines will save us from a flu epidemic. These things are not done with anything other than the simple object in mind and the world has become reactionary to this. I rise in opposition to this and the the one minded answer the Pharmaceuticals have toward the flu and how they have co-opted us all to follow like sheep to their single answer will not win the battle. The pharmaceuticals are never going to defeat an enemy that mutates and strikes where and when it will and so we are left having our pockets stripped of our money and our immune systems stripped of their natural strength. The approach is a wrong as the 2nd world war bombing of German cities that was meant to demoralize the Germans or the failures of Vietnam and now Iraq. We have opted at this time to follow our leaders who are out of step with history. Neither will we win in Afghanistan if we follow our instincts to destroy the enemy and not support the people who have to live in the space of our destruction. Homeopathy leaves the enemy and deals with the symptoms of our discomfort which strengthens us to do our own work through our immune system.

Lessons are many in this book which I recommend all to read. It is a call to arms for all of us to be innovative and active in our quest for a safer world.

I answer that call and urge you to join in protecting yourselves gently and with the care of Homeopathy and not with the pharmaceuticals so laced with poisonous side effects.

Cars, water, gas and Murray

Summer was special for me when I was growing up. We had a cottage at Cedar Springs about 18 miles from Hamilton Ontario. Out in the country where the Credit river runs through a valley of cedars. There were 80 wooden cottages spread around a one mile ring road in amongst the cedars. It was pure fun. We had a 9 hole golf course, two tennis courts, a barn that was a community hall and the river was dammed up so we could swim. Tons of kids. 1946 or 47 is when Murray Schwenger got a nice old 1925 or 30 sedan. What a ball. Dust roads and tooling about.

Murray knew all about cars and would tinker with it all the time. Once he added a device he made to drip water into the carburetor to see if the car would still run and if he could save gas. He tried it several times and if we were going fast enough he could add water and we could still drive but when he accelerated to go up a hill it would be slower and sometimes the engine would conk out. He did save gas but the care did not run as efficiently.

I was thinking about that today when I was trying to explain what I feel is wrong with most pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines in the human body. They do give you more life but you do not operate at your best capability. Unlike the water in the gas idea we humans can’t turn off the drug tap so easily and often can’t get rid of the effects and side effects of the drugs. Often they just stay with us and so we end up not running very well. Our quality of life is sometimes compromised forever and we never know when the hill will come along and we will conk out so to speak.

The body is a marvellous creation and meant to run as it was made. We have inside ourselves all the tools necessary to keep it going and healthy. If we do get sick there are ways to heal that will not leave us compromised. Rest, exercise, and proper diet have to be a given but if help is needed then Homeopathic remedies and/or Bach Flower remedies will help us get back on track safely. They have no side effects unlike most pharmaceuticals and leave nothing behind to compromise our systems. Think about it.

How I will treat this years flu.

The symptoms of the flu are many including nausea, achy feeling, runny nose, chills, tiredness and on and on. I find people know when they are getting the flu usually and will say just that "I think I'm getting the flu." This to me means they feel lousy. Take a flu remedy on that first feeling knowing that if it is not right it just passes through you without effect at all. Remember that homeopathic remedies have no side effects.

Boiron has two remedies for the flu right now Boiron - Influenzinum 30c, 80 pellets This is for this years flu and the tube should say 2009 on it and may say 2009-2010 and that would mean the swine flu. The bottle will cost about 7.00 and although it says take 3 or 4 pellets just take one at a time as one is the same as two or three or four. If you get some relief from your symptoms then don't take more although you could take one 3 or 4 hours later just to be sure you got it beaten. If you get a bit better and then not so good take another pellet. You be the doctor. If nothing happens in 20 minutes or so take another pellet and wait again to see if you are leveling off in ill feeling but if you do not have some movement forward in 3 doses over about 1 1/2 hours I would think it is not about to help. I also drink fresh orange juice lots and usually buy Grove Stand which is good. I also think rest is smart. Pamper yourself.

In my large Hollywood Survival Kit I have anas barbariae 200C which is for bird flu and to my thinking the same symptoms exist as in the swine flu. You can read about it on my site #3 remedy.

Boiron make a product called Oscilloccocinum http://www.boironusahcp.com/products/oscillo_info.aspx this is their official page on this remedy. It is Anas Barbariae 200C the same remedy that is in my kit. Their remedy comes in a pencil shaped tube about 1 1/2 inches long and you take off the cap and it is full of pin head size pellets and the suggested dose is all of them. If you understand the principals of Homeopathy you will know that one pellet has the same value as the whole tube if taken at one time. If you get oscillo then the little inner cap has an indent in it so just carefully pour two or three of the tiny pellets into the lid and take that and the tube which has about 150 pellets in it will last a long time. Take the same way as you would the other remedy suggested. I would buy both and if one does not work go to the other. Most important I would get Bach Rescue Remedy and put 3 drops in a bottle of water and drink one bottle a day especially if you are worried about getting the flu. It will help you balance your perspective on all this and calm you down. It is not addictive although preserved in alcohol (good brandy).
